aww… poor steve
I heard Steve Swiggum’s wonderful speech last night. What a great man of character, honesty, integrity, and compassion. Listen to the man, and decide for yourself if u believe the negative spin or believe your own observations.
Steve cannot tell a lie, and cant even say a bad thing about anybody. He is among the most honest fortright people in the state of MN, whether or not one agrees with his platforms.
I would vote for Steve as governor if/when gov Tim runs for president in 2012 based on character alone.
well we’re not interested in his obstreperous obstructionism anyway.
Steve did a press conference on 11/08, he almost started crying. The best thing you can do with a bully (partisan or school yard) is to throw it right back at them, the reaction is always the same - and Rep. Sviggum showed it. The distinquised gentleman from Kenyon is scared that his actions will now be thrown back at him, and he knows it will not be a pleasant thing. As ye reap, so shall ye sow Mr. Speaker (outgoing).
It makes perfectly good sense that Sviggum does not want to be Minority Leader when he’s been Speaker for the past eight years. His desire to not be Minority Leader has nothing to do with him being *scared.* The guy’s probably dog-tired and ready for a break. Anyone who serves in the Speaker’s role that long will be.
