Norm Also A Travel Planner!

Coleman-Shadow1It’s a conundrum that so many of us face so often: we have $10 grand burning a hole in our pockets but we just can’t figure out our travel plans, what to do? Senator Norm Coleman to the rescue! Our multi-talented anti-ethics reform Senator has just the treat for you: convince your PAC to max out at $10 Gs to him and he’ll organize a trip to Napa! Ethics-reforms shmethics-reforms, just give me that cold hard cash. The Washington Post has all the details:

If you were worried that your favorite interest group might be sidelined in today’s hyper-ethical Congress, relax. Lawmakers are finding ways to stay comfy cozy.

Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) is offering a “Max out package” that allows political action committees to donate $10,000 to his coffers and be treated to special meetings that could include a Napa Valley wine tour, a “private event with up to five guests” or two visits to, well, Minnesota. (Sadly, last week, the Napa leg was canceled.)
