Let’s all be honest about Gaither. What the public doesn’t know that everyone inside politics knows is that Gaither “resigned” because he got caught nailing his assistant to the wall….and numerous other places…like the back of a volkswagon. This is on top of that fact that he’s a complete d-bag anyway.

I must come clean on something too. The biggest mistake I ever made was allowing his kid to walk on to my football team. They deserved to fire me on those grounds alone. Luckily he shares a number with a couple of other players so that should tell you something about his chances of playing. Similar to a tree falling in the woods, if a person never steps foot on the field does he still deserved to be called a “college” ball player?

Gaither left Tim Pawlenty’s office in late 2006 after the election results possibly due to the new moderate tone Pawlenty would be forced to strike and Gaither’s known conservativeness.

1) Just to clarify, Assclown is a pejorative term. I am not sure why that was in doubt, but if you also think that Gathier is a dedicated public servant with a great story, maybe you need some help. I think that buffoon would probably be the closest word, at least the way I have seen it used. Jackass would also work.

2) I’m guessing from the responses (and getting pimped for using it 3 times in a comment) that Assclown is not an acceptable word on this site. I won’t use it again, unless its really, really appropriate.

3) What brought out the “A word” with Gathier is not just that he is another right-wing drone, but that he would do something idiotic like run against Jim Ramstad in a primary. That’s a whole other level of stupidity.

Sure, y’all love to believe Ramstad’s image, and it is an image, that he is a moderate Republican. But look at his voting record. He has voted a very high percentage of the time with the Republicans and with Bush. I’m sure he suppported the Bush budget. It’s true, too, that his district has changed beneath him and he’s covering his political ass by voting for the anti-surge resolution. He may believe it; but he’s also covering his political ass. He’s more Republican than you think. Just examine his voting record.

Why wouldn’t Ramsted switch parties and run as a Democrat? What would stop him? If Repubs continue to run as hard-core conservatives, I think it would be a smart move on Ramsted’s part.
