Apparently when high-priority reconnaissance is reported from Iraq they don’t tell it to the DoD, the CIA, or the NSA, they go straight to Michele Bachmann. The “Fool for Jesus” must be getting her intel from on high because she dropped an info bomb in an interview with St. Cloud Times reporter Larry Schumacher that has caught everyone off-gaurd:
And half of Iraq, the western, northern portion of Iraq, is going to be called….
the Iraq State of Islam, something like that . And I’m sorry, I don’t have the official name, but it’s meant to be the training ground for the terrorists. There’s already an agreement made.
They are going to get half of Iraq and that is going to be a terrorist safe haven zone where they can go ahead and bring about more terrorist attacks in the Middle East region and then to come against the United States because we are their avowed enemy. [The Big Question]
I just have to say that I was completely wrong about this woman; thank God she’s in Congress because we may never have gotten advance warning of this deal if Patty Wetterling had won!
Of course there are a lot of unanswered questions. Like how Bachmann knows this, who the deal is with, how this guarantee was negotiated, how Iran plans to swing this on the international relations field, etc. Bachmann didn’t provide any answers to these questions but I have complete faith that her information is one hundred percent correct because,
While I’m sure Bachmann was trying to reference the troubled Al-Anbar province by the “northern, western” part of Iraq which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever given the fact that Al-Anbar is sparsely populated as compared to the rest of Iraq and also NOT BORDERING ON IRAN, Al-Anbar is not the “northern, western” portion of Iraq. Anyone familiar with Iraq’s borders knows that there IS NO NORTHERN-WESTERN PROVINCE “HALF” OF IRAQ.
Unless she really meant the eastern part of Syria which would make even less sense.

Clarification: by “sparsely populate: I mean to also reference the fact that Al-Anbar is almost entirely made up of Sunni Muslims, not Shia, and so would be incredibly hostile to any Iranian takeover. (There are plenty of Shia who aren’t crazy fans of Iran either).
So she’s been in congress for less than 2 months & has a hotline to critical intelligence, (if her dream sequence is remotely true)?
Wouldn’t or shouldn’t somebody be excited over this from the white house? Has she told them yet? She really is Minnesota’s Katherine Harris!

Will someone please step up and challenge Bachmann instead of just making fun of her? I too contribute to the fun but seriously folks, we need a candidate to step up in the 6th now not later, one that can get the media’s attention and challenge this kind of stuff and exposing her idiocy.

I swear, every time I see her picture she looks like Miss Richfield 1982, mouth so wide open she could put both fists in it. Maybe she has a secret decoder ring from a cereal box to help her divine Iran’s intentions. That is about the level of gravitas she brings to the House of Representatives.
Yeah, it’s interesting how she managed to pick out the part of Iraq which would make the least sense on the part of Iran (for the social and geographic reasons stated above.)

I wish former Senate Majority Leader Dean Johnson would challenge her. He’s a savvy and serious politican, longtime national guard member. I don’t know if he lives in the 6th district (Willmar). (I know you don’t *have* to live in the congressional district you represent, but it certainly helps.) Johnson was defeated by lying, evil organizations from outside his district, and our state politics is much impoverished without him.
Is Tinklenberg going to run? More importantly, is Patty Wetterling going to stop running?

I not sure she is crazy but she sure likes to carry Bush Cheney BS. My take on this is that Cheney shared the map from the secret energy policy meetings and told her the story that she let out. Lets face it they sent everyone of importance to get her elected and now she is paying them back with stunts like this.

Seriously, I don’t know. The only one to pick this up may be Tinklenberg, since its 2 strikes for Patty Wetterling in her bid for office, but he’s pretty close to Republican.
