His opposition to the surge was just a pose. A pose to allow him to claim he’s not a 100% loyal Bushie. However, when it comes down to voting, he’ll always remain loyal. I’ve been tracking him at the Norm Coleman Weasel Meter. Check it out. He even claimed on MPR last Thursday that he’s optimistic that the surge is going well.
He’s one hell of an ugly Goldilocks…
The Big E
mnblue.com is home to the Norm Coleman Weasel Meter
A vacillating flip-flopper, or a pretender?
Doesn’t seem like he’s a trend-setting idea man.
He’s bad middle management, just trying to hold on.
Hey Big E,
Have you talked to any of the troops on the ground in Iraq? My cousin is there and he is very optimistic that the surge is going well. And yes, the policy did change in Iraq. Gen. David Petraeus is the top counter insurgency expert in the U.S. military. He is the architect of the surge. And guess what, Petraeus was unanimously confirmed by the Senate. If the Senate has no faith in the surge, why did Amy Klobuchar and the rest of the Democrats confirm him?
Oh, boy, Chris. Your cousin says it’s going well and that’s good enough for you…what a dweeb. You better hurry and blog on MDE…you don’t want to miss out on all the immature swiftboating probably going on there…DEMS RULE/MIDTERM ELECTIONS…DEMS RULE/MIDTERM ELECTIONS…WHIPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Hey Ruthie,
You just showed the lack of regard liberals have for our troops. My cousin is not a dweeb for fighting for your freedom. You are an ingrateful, mean spirited person. People like you burn our soldiers in effigy as they did in Oregon last week. Your wicked rhetoric is a cancer on our country and you should be ashamed.
Oh, crikey, this is such total crap. Folks, you’re feeding the attention-starved troll. Every time you wade around in Chris’ projectile vomiting, you encourage him to spew even more and then toddle his little troll legs right on over to MDE. Ignore him. Always and forever.
bajonimi,
I guess the truth does hurt. You know, jerks like you are what turn off the American people to politics. It’s really sad when you can’t have a civil conversation without it devolving into name calling, etc. I only come here because it’s interesting to read what you people have to say and because MNPublius feels free to post things over at MDE, even though Matt and Zack have their own blog.
If the sandbox isn’t big enough for your ego, tough. I’m not going anywhere. Ask kathy whether she thinks I’m a troll. kathy and I have had many thoughtful exchanges. You people on the left talk about tolerance all the time but you are the most intolerant people in the world.
Um, Chris, re-read Ruthie’s post. I’m pretty sure she was calling YOU the dweeb, not your cousin.
Yes we have, Chris. We are opposites when it comes to our politics, yet we want the best for this country. You are no troll. You are passionate, I must add that.
It must be spring, love is in the air. But Kathy, hate to burst your hopes but I don’t think Chris swings that way. Chris is only capable of spouting talking points and very often, he doesn’t get those right. I strongly suspect he’s 9, maybe 10 years old given writing style and content. A civil conversation would be an admission that opposing viewpoints can be valid. Opposing viewpoints can be patriotic. With the Proto-fascist/Neocons, they have to seem dismissive of contrary ideas because to give a dissenting viewpoint any credence, is to admit, they don’t have a franchise on common sense. Those of us old enough to remember the criminal Reagan, this is old hat. It’s time, I believe to quit being polite, to quit being cordial and to call nazi bigots, nazi bigots. And to the point of the post, Coleman is an empty suit who’s only purpose in office is to do the bidding of our war criminal president. No suprise seeing him vote
Hey Richard,
You’re pretty funny. You say that opposing viewpoints can be patriotic, then you called me a fascist in the same breath. You called President Reagan a criminal and then you called me a Nazi bigot? Yeah, Richard, let’s make you the poster child for tolerance and civil discourse in America. You’re a mean-spirited glittering jewel of colossal ignorance. As far as I’m concerned, you can stick your angry, hateful, mean spirited, intolerant comments up your rectum.
Hey Chris,
It looks like Richard took his angry, hateful, mean spirited, intolerant comments and shoved them up your rectum!
First of all I never called Chris a nazi bigot. Second of all I never claimined to be tolerant of fascism or bigotry. Third of all Reagan should’ve died in the same jail cell Nixon should’ve died in. Fourtth of all, it is possible to be a fascist and be patriotic. What’s not possible is to be ignorant of that, and to be patriotic. Conservatives who don’t like to be called fascists should stop behaving like fascists. Now back to Corporate Norm, he will not be able to run far enough or fast enough to the left to win his re-election bid. He has held far too many positions on far too few issues.
Richard,
Come on, you’re not fooling anyone. You’ve called me a Nazi bigot and a facist on multiple occasions and on more than one blog. You are a hate monger and a glittering jewel of colossal ignorance.
