There is a new ad hitting the airwaves (I saw it this morning during the news) highlighting the Colemeleons support for the increasingly futile war in Iraq.
(I’m working on getting it embedded in the post, eh.)
Update: See, thats what I get for posting something before I get through the rest of my news clippings.
This article from the Strib details some more on the ad. The best part though is the Colemeleon’s response to the press.
Coleman’s chief spokesman, Tom Steward, released a statement saying that Coleman “respects and shares the frustrations of those who are concerned about the continuing violence and political stalemate in Iraq.”
Coleman, he added, “has been quite vocal in expressing his concerns to the president regarding the direction of our policy in Iraq.”
Lets not get ahead of ourselves here Normy! God-forbid you should actually have to share an opinion. A concrete opinion. It’s surprisingly not hard “I think the war in Iraq is going well.” or conversely, “I don’t think the war in Iraq is going well.” Give it a whirl sometime.
