The Pressure’s On: New Ad highlights Coleman’s continued Support of President’s War Policies

normtimandgeorge.jpgWhile Republican Senators continue to concede that President Bush’s policies in Iraq are failing; while an increasingly small minority of American believe that victory is still possible in Iraq and an increasingly large majority want the troops home (71%); while troop casualties in Iraq continue to accelerate; while reports show that not one single benchmark we’ve set has been met; while the nation and the world yearns for real leadership, Senator Norm Coleman remains quietly inactive.

The time for inaction and quiet complicity is over Senator. Minnesota elected you to serve the interests of this great state and this nation. But you have shown time and again that your keeper resides not in Minneapolis, Rochester, Big Lake, or Lutsen but at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Please, Senator Coleman, awake to reality and join the masses that have seen the fate of further American involvement in Iraq: failure at the expense of more violence.

The pressure’s on and the nation is watching. Americans United for Change released an ad focusing on Senator Coleman earlier this week and now the DSCC is unleashing another ad highlighting the Senator’s continued complicity. Hopefully these ads will make the flames a bit hotter and force the Senator to move out of the fire, but ultimately only you, citizens of Minnesota, can convince him. Call Senator Coleman and ask that he votes in line with Minnesota’s ideals: (202) 224-5641.

Norm has HUGGED the ANCHOR of the SS Minnow & jumped overboard with Bush…

In case you forget, Bush is the guy who keeps telling us that the same guys who hit the towers - are the ones hitting us in Iraq, despite reports to the contrary. Who claims he will work with congress - and doesn’t.

In case you forget, Bush is the guy who can order Harriet Myers to ignore congress.

The guy who can pardon a criminal named Scooter, without a day in prison! - who has all his expenses covered by Fred Thompson’s defense fund.

A guy who claims that his agency reports are WRONG! On what basis?
    Is it the booze?

Normy’s right there with him: Is God talking to Normy now too?

    It’s Pathetic
    Bush isn’t even a smart alcoholic…
Downing gallons of near-beer and barley a buzz….

Why did you “Uncle Buck” the part of the photo including “One term Timmy”? Are you that fearful that Minnesota voters will, as they do with Pawlenty, separate Bush from Coleman and elect him again despite pathetic Bush numbers?
