Given that Bonoff only had about a week to work with before the quarter ended, $90,000 is impressive. Its clear that Bonoff has significant fundraising abilities.
That being said, I don’t think this number is large enough to scare off other candidates. I would still expect that this will be a contested endorsement.

Gotta give Bonoff credit for having the guts to officially declare before the end of the quarter, and then getting out and raising the money. $90K is pretty impressive for that short a time.
It’s not going to scare anyone off, but for those obsessed with the insider baseball that is quarterly fundraising, it looks good and is a bit of a poke in the eye to those folks waiting for the start of a new quarter before they get into it…
