I don't care if the Right thinks they need a true conservative in this seat, or the Left thinks this is an opportunity to sway a toss-up district into their hands. In the end, the 3rd District Congressperson needs to reflect the composite of the 3rd District Constituents. If Jim Ramstad wants to change his mind, I say let him. After all, we are really trying to search for another Jim Ramstad to replace him. What would be better than getting the real thing back? Jim Ramstad fits the 3rd district to a tee.
