Yesterday saw a flurry of activity on the Senate Race — make sure you check out all of our posts.
Al Franken and Mike Ciresi both got good press yesterday and Al picked up the St. Paul Firefighters and the incredibly important AFSCME endorsement. Jack Nelson Pallmeyer has been making moves, and Rachel Paulose (nominated and supported by Norm Coleman) finally left the US Attorney’s office.
Paulose is clearly the big story of the day, and Eric Black has provided great coverage of it from day one, but in the Senate race I don’t think you can overstate the importance of winning the AFSCME endorsement. The Ciresi camp was really hoping for that endorsement and to not get it is a major blow for their camp. There are a few other big institutional endorsements that are still out there, but this is probably the biggest.
