“Obama Hits Stride in Iowa”

Barack-ObamaIn case you haven’t noticed, we’ve been on a bit of an Obama kick here lately. The guy gets me fired up and, from the looks of it, he’s having the same affect on Iowans as well. Chris Cillizza from Washington Post’s “The Fix” had some analysis yesterday:

As The Fix trekked back and forth on ice-slicked roads to a series of Democratic presidential forums today one thing became very clear: Barack Obama is hitting his stride.

At both the Heartland Forum Saturday afternoon and the Brown and Black debate later in the day, Obama displayed a deft political touch that was largely absent from his campaign in its early days.

(His Iowa campaign also got a very nice boost late Saturday when the new Des Moines Register poll put him at 28 percent as compared to 25 percent for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) and 23 percent for former Sen. John Edwards. The new poll also showed that Obama was doing better than Clinton among women likely to attend the Iowa caucuses next month, 31 percent to 26 percent. Women represent roughly six in 10 Democratic caucus goers, according to the new poll. )

Read the whole thing here. If Obama’s new found lead has you standing up and cheering like me, I suggest you also check out his Iowa HQ to see how you can help.

You will be voting for Hillary, she has not told you to do so yet, she may have the democRat party handle that detail for her. All you need to know is it will be Hillary and you WILL have to vote for her, so says the law of democRats. :)

    “Big”,

Thank you again for representing the Republican base mindset so very very well.

You are so freakin’ awesome! Your attention to detail should be noted by every moonbat, how your every word reeks of ridicule and hate.

    Thank you.

Nitro, you too WILL BE voting for Hillary. No hate, no ridicule, just a fact.

    If I am wrong bet me that Hillary will not be the candidate. ;

Once again Nitro you hyperventilate about what is fact that you may not like, but still is fact.

Hillary is the one and nothing any of you do can change that. :)
I will be happy to remind you all that I said this later when Hillary is confirmed as the nominee for the democRat party. :)
I hope you like her Nitro as she will be the face of your party going forward.

Thanks! Of course you represent your base very well. You’re so smart “predicting” that one. I thought you people didn’t pay attention to “polls”.

You Neocons are a lonely lot?
Does coming here make you a BIG kahuna in a smaller pool of neoncons among the other posters here?

Who are you guys MOST scared of? Hillary or Barack Obama?
    Or John Edwards?

Hillary’s only my choice above Gravel - and the entire cadre of wimpy “Republicans” with serious image problems & scandals galore.
She’d be OK. A little too old school Republican for my taste, but OK.

    OBAMA-EDWARDS would be great!
    EDWARDS-OBAMA would be fabulous!

But it might be Hillary. Surely you don’t think we’d go to “MORE OF THE SAME” right wingers, even if these Republican candidates HAVE to be smarter than Bush by a tick. Nothing scintillates from the right, that’s for sure. They’re a creepy lot mostly. McCain’s too old.

Gosh, john - that was such an incisive high school homeroom kinda answer - trying to equate Obama with the middle east. Might as well start using racial epithets too.

My advice: Stay in school, get the education.

That is one great OBAMA ad!

We could have that vision for 4 years with him in the white house!!!
    That would be just great.

Somebody to fix the government left in tatters by Bush.

Mocking bird you are a funny one. :)
Not sure what color the sky is in your world but history has a way of proving you wrong often. :)
You may as well get used to Hillary as that will be who your party tells you to vote for. She will pick a “purse Poodle” of a running mate because she will not have anyone out shine her so it will need to be a weak person who will obey her call.

I do think Obama is your party’s best choice, but Hillary has already paid for thei so you just best get used to it.

Again Mocking bird, I will look forward to re-posting this later when it is announced Hillary will be the one. :)
Once again, Big is right on the money and Mocking bird is still dreaming. :)
