Brodkorb Attacking Jim Nobles?

Back when Jim Nobels was assigned to this case, Michael Brodkorb at Minnesota Democrats Exposed crowed about how great Jim Nobels was. He even posted this little ditty from PIM about how you don’t mess with Jim — with multiple posts (must read! He tells you, because Drudge copywrited that little siren thing) about how the tough, thoughtful, well respected Legislative Auditor is going to come take Mark Ritchie to task.

But now when the report comes back and it doesn’t come out how Mike wanted, he’s going to say that the Legislative Auditor doesn’t know how to do his job?

In my opinion, these interviews are full of inconsistent statements and they shows the levels at which Ritchie and members of his office provided roadblocks to Nobles’ investigation.

I will be post the transcript of these interviews as soon as possible on Minnesota Democrats Exposed.

You don’t think that Nobels can do his job Michael? Maybe you could do it better? Is it his credibility? Is it his competence?

Except for his failure to provide a complete and timely response to our original request for information, Secretary of State Ritchie cooperated with our investigation, as did his staff. We thank them for their assistance.

(from the report)

I don’t think a partisan blogger is really capable of passing judgment on the investigation that the Legislative Auditor did — I know I’m just going to take his word for it. You don’t mess with Jim for a reason.

Aren’t you a partisan blogger passing judgement on the investigation?

  • Sean: The reason you put a question mark at the end of your post title is because I wasn’t attacking Jim Nobles. Nice try.

  • But you think that Ritchie pulled the wool over his eyes? On your blog you’re saying that Ritchie put up roadblocks, but Nobels says he was cooperative.

So, do you trust Jim Nobels report or does the fact that you disagree with it mean that you have to attack the credibility of the messenger.

By the way — great post about Ron Carey’s endorsement.

    Sean

  • So, does Brodkorb’s head automatically explode every time you post about him? Yeah, I know about RSS et al. Even so … keep up the good work, mnPublius — flushes him out from time to time.

Um, no. He is taking the legislative auditor’s word for it.

  • Brodkorb now wants it both ways and he’s back to his old tricks. I was going to mention this on his blog but you beat me to it. Those guys were dancing in the streets and ready to make babies when Jim said he would proceed with an investigation. Now, they are all smarter at Jim’s job than Jim is and know that Ritchie has fooled him.

    Weak. Weak. Weak.

  • Ritchie slipped through the legal mess (so far), but the public has already been convicted him for the typical pathologically lying Democrat he is.

Although I can certainly understand how a bunch of people whose morals float upon the winds can see lying as perfectly acceptable, I fail to understand how they can have such a low opinion of their fellow citizens as to believe that no one else will remember his proven publicly stated lies.

How can you people not see the damage this kind of scandal does to your already weak credibility?

I guess such cluelessness is part and parcel of life in “the reality based community”.

  • I agree 100% Swiftee, and judging from what I’m seeing on FOX tonight, so do the American people.

Clearly, the American people are again rejecting the Democratic party. They want to change the Washington establishment to a new, Republican led, permanent majority, so we can take America down a shining new path.

Everyone knows only the Republican Party can keep us all safe. Nothing is more important.
