Molnau to Lose Her Job Tomorrow

OK, we don’t know that much yet. But Mary LaHammer reports that the Senate will take up Molnau’s confirmation tomorrow:

I’ve now had it confirmed from several sources, the Senate plans to take up the confirmation of Lt. Gov./Transportation Commissioner this Thursday on the Senate floor. The floor session is scheduled for 11:00am, the same time the budget forecast is going to be released.

I have a better chance at being MN DOT Commissioner on Friday than Carol Molnau.

Aw c’mon Murphy, leave the Burgermeister Meisterburger alone. She hasn’t done anything wrong

Talk about locking the barn after the horse is gone….oh well better late than never. Good riddance, now she will be able to concentrate on ribbon cutting all the backed up highway projects that have languished since she became commissioner.

My vote is for Laurie Coleman to take over the reins. I’m sure Norm misses her terribly. And I’m certain she’d happily put her acting career on hold.

Thank you DFL, may we have another?

This waste of space Molnau has to go and go quickly. She ought to be impeached right after the locks are changed too.

But…. what is Steve Murphy going to spend his time on now??

  7. 7 7 John S

Why, all sorts of worthy transportation projects that had languished from lack of funds, DantheMan. Y’know, those things that are now quite funded….

They are funded, yes. As they should be.

Now let’s make it a mission of ours, Dem and Rep, to make sure the money is spent wisely. We owe it to the taxpayers to get some bang for the buck.

Was she getting paid for her second job?

    DrG

She was only getting paid for the Transportation job which is actually a cut from the Lt Gov pay

I do not support Molnau’s removal:
