If the founders felt that tithing was “unconstitutional”, then they would have INCLUDED that clause while drafting! Churches should be given no special status and be treated just like any other business. Though in principle that the Government shall not establish a national religion, thus gauranteeing freedom of and freedom from religion as a basic right. There are many who confuse this with being in the Constitution.
