Obama or Clinton? MN Goes Blue Regardless

Minnesota holds the distinction of being the only state to have voted for the Democratic nominee for President in every election since 1972. Though we still don’t know who our nominee will be this year, SurveyUSA has new polls showing that both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama would win Minnesota’s 10 electoral votes.

Obama - 49
McCain - 42

Clinton - 47
McCain - 43

Nice.

It would be interesting to see if having Pawlenty as McCain’s vp would make any difference…

T-pawl’s support didn’t do McGoo any good in the caucus.

Gov. Pawlenty might help Sen. McCain some in MN after all, Gov. Pawlenty got over 45% in his last election here and Sen. McCain is hitting that number only within the margin of error which I am assuming is less than 4%.

After all Lt. Gov Molnau would certainly be competent after her extremely fantastic management of MNDoT, in which she managed her budget so well that chunks of the HQ building didn’t start falling down.

Oh wait that didn’t happen, please stay here Gov. Pawlenty and have our state be managed with some measure of competence.

When was the election? Oh, it isn’t for another 8 months…….

Snark on: Yeah, TPaw is so well known in the Repub circles that they don’t even know his name — Sean Hannity (oof, that was difficult to type without slamming the keyboard)announced him on his show last night as “Tom Pawlenty” and then called him Senator during the interview. Another Repub, old “happy face” Bob Novak, slammed him in an article he wrote. Maybe they’ll pick that nervous, tanned Crist in FL…
    Snark off: nah…
