The Page is reporting that Barack Obama will be in Minnesota on Tuesday. Obama is expected to have enough delegates to claim the Democratic nomination by Tuesday, meaning he will lay claim to the nomination at the site of the Republican National Convention.
Update: This will be quite the show. My big question: will Obama be joined by any super-duper delegates like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid or Al Gore?

Strib is reporting Xcel Energy Center, Tuesday. Free, open to the public. Have fun.
It’s also confirmed on MPR and Minmon too. Details will follow soon.

“meaning he will lay claim to the nomination at the site of the Republican National Convention.”
Wow, quite the political stunt here. I thought Obama was supposed to be above cheap tricks like this. When is everyone going to wake up to the fact that Obama is the quintessential politician despite his portrayal that he is above typical politics??
The site says there are no tickets required. I think that’s just a place to show interest and get on a mailing list, though they call it an RSVP. First come first served = just stream in the venue, right?
Can we please all agree never ever ever to say “super-duper delegates” again? It sounds like a title a toddler would come up with.
Snuffy, that’s exactly how it works. It’s going to be a madhouse.
Doors open 7 PM. Show up early and you can stand in line for hours.

It’s called a campaign. Perhaps your candidate (whomever s/he is) should/should have tried it.
Think Clinton will be joining Obama on stage tomorrow at the X to endorse him?
