*Exclusive* Walz not playing active role in Ciresi recruitment

I just spoke with Chris Schmitter Tim Walz’s campaign manager and he called the "report" in Checks & Balances (subscription required) completely false .

The Congressman is neutral in this race, he is focused doing his job for the people of Southern Minnesota, he is not encouraging Ciresi to get in and he is not playing a role in this race at all.

What do you expect him to say? Yes, we think Al Franken is toxic and might hurt us down here if the Republicans get their act together…

Well duh!! Do you think Chris Schmitter is going to tell you that the Congressman is looking for another candidate? Of course not. Walz is probably talking with Ciresi privately, and not through his campaign manager.

    Please try to RELAX.

Just because I post on Minnesota Democrats Exposed (MDE), doesn’t mean that I believe everything that I read.

The MDE disclaimer reads something similar to:

if you haven’t figured out that Michael B. Brodkorb, the owner of MDE, is a partisan Republican than you are a MORON.

    [I’ll clarify my 4:26 statement.]

Sean Broom’s MN PUBLIUS title and some words in the article seem to be EXTREME. At least one of the three persons working at MN Publius has admitted to being PARTISAN.

Titles and articles at MINNESOTA DEMOCRATS EXPOSED (MDE) seem to be EXTREME. Michael B. Brodkorb’s disclaimer states, “If you read Minnesota Democrats Exposed and can’t figure out that I am a partisan Republican, you are a moron.”

One of the things that I like about being a Minnesotan [and therefore an American] is that I DO NOT HAVE TO BELIEVE EVERYTHING AND/OR EVERY EXTREME THING THAT I READ.

I can, and do, suspend judgment from time to time.

Recruiting Cerisi very possibly means losing the seat to Normy.
Cerisi isn’t that exciting. He won’t draw national attention like Al.

They are scared to death of having debates with Al.
He can articulate Normy’s failings - and he can be fun while he does it.

I’ve never anything in Norm that tells me he is even remotely in Franken’s league. Normy looked stupid during the Bolton debates, etc.

THAT should make the highlight reel.

What??? Shawn Towle might be wrong? Say it ain’t so! The guy can’t even spell his name right!

Ciresi is and always has been a better all around candidate then Franken. From the depths of police to the way they handle them selves publicly its clear that Ciresi is the only one of the two that has actually put others before self. Franken is motivated by ego, and has little chance in reaching across the isle to bring solutions.

Thank you, congressman, for stepping up and supporting Franken!

    Let’s get those bush bastards!

Um, yeah….whatever. Bush’s popularity is at 27% I’m not worried about that group.
