Mayor Coleman to Endorse Obama

Per the Pioneer Press:

St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman, a staunch backer of Sen. Hillary Clinton, said Monday he’s preparing to endorse her opponent, Sen. Barack Obama, for president when Obama takes the stage at the Xcel Energy Center tonight.

“I’m going to certainly attend as the mayor of St. Paul hosting the presumptive nominee,” Coleman, a member of Clinton’s Minnesota steering committee, told the Pioneer Press. “I certainly expect to endorse Barack tomorrow night after all the votes are counted. The outcome will be clear. Out of respect for Senator Clinton, I’m going to give her a chance to make her statement, but ….” He didn’t complete the thought.

We’ve been hearing rumors of other prominent Minnesota Clinton backers preparing to defect to Obama, but nothing is confirmed as of yet. I suspect many are waiting to see if Clinton concedes in the next few days, which would spare them from having to publicly break from the Clintons. Also, no word from Rep. Colin Peterson, Minnesota’s sole remaining underclared super.

Will there be a flag burning at the press conference, or will everyone in attendence have to agree that “America is a sin” to gain admittance?

Shut up Swiftee. Say something constructive or shut the hell up. Minnesota blogs are just plagued with rude Republicans.

Anywho, hopefully we’ll see Petersen there tonight to endorse him. It’d be quite excellent. And yay for Coleman, he totally stumped for Hillary at my college Dem’s meeting this past semester.

Swiftee - what you will see is people uniting for freedom not just a symbol of freedom. You and Republicans have tried to make the symbols more important that the freedoms for which those symbols stand for. “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” That “under God” is the ethics part, you know the part that Republicans have been skipping over. Maybe you should focus on understanding the pledge of allegiance past the first line.

”..what you will see is people uniting for freedom not just a symbol of freedom.”

    I believe that.

The left wants a North American continent free of the United States. Obama promises “change”, and given the glimpse of the circle of influences that he has surrounded himself with over the entirety of his life, I think we all can guess what kinds of “changes” he would undertake to create an Obamanation every leftist could finally be proud of.

I’m sorry Andrew, it is totally rude of me to wave that mirror up in here, isn’t it?

Peterson said he would back Obama because he won his district on Feb 5. His plan was to wait until the Farm Bill passed.

But yeah, maybe we will see him tonight.

    Swiftee, I agree 100%,

These facsist communist socialist liberal moonbats need to be taken down. Thank GOD there’s someone like you here who is so good at taking moonbats down.

Taking moonbats down is important, because everyone knows they’re all a bunch of flag burning racists who hate America and want to surrender to terrorists.

Everyone knows ALL OF THEM are EXACTLY like that.

    Great Job, Swiftee!
