i voted for Franken in 4
“How many ballots will it take for Al to get endorsed?”
Perhaps acting “flip” like this could lead to endorsement remorse?
No endorsement. Nice work guys. And I’m not in Rochester. Thanks though!
I’m going to go out on a long thin limb and say Franken, first ballot. Summit EPA on tap, please.
Al Franken will get endorsed with much resistance. 1st ballot.
My comment should read “without” much resistance. 1st ballot.
3 — -but hope it is JNP.
Senate District 15 is where you can find me.
Michael B. Brodkorb’s comment probably should read: with resistance, without resistance, 1st ballot…5th… 10th… I really don’t care.
Many were enamored early, many unions endorsed early, and many assumed most soft underbellies were protected.
If you think that WE haven’t been ready for YOUR next steps - think again.
Amy’s speech was inspiring. I didn’t realize that the Congress had actually implemented PayGo. So, what got cut to pay for the stimulus checks? In fact, what’s going to get cut to pay for the just-approved massive increase in defense spending? Thank God for change!
The NRSC (National Republican Senatorial Committee)has a 56-second-long, web-video, “Al Franken’s Implode-O-Rama.”
I was recently posted on Minnesota Democrats Exposed (MDE).
My previous post on this thread, 6-6-2008 (Friday night) at 10:17 p.m. was right ON TARGET.
[a veces el presidente sabe.]
“Al Franken’s Implode-O-Rama” is much more CLEAR at the NRSC (National Republican Senatorial Committee) website
From that website you can click on the Republican “membership” of the NRSC, and get an idea of what it is, if you are not already familiar with the operation.
I’m not going to make a prediction, but looking around at all the people at the convention I will say that JNP is going to surprise people. 3 months ago most people had never heard of him. 2 months ago people didn’t take him seriously. 1 month ago no one thought he could last one ballot. Today, I think people realize the power of Jack’s message and how strong his candidacy really is. Tomorrow, when we delegates vote, no matter the results, it will be a validation of all the hard work put in by Jack and his campaign. I hope he wins, I’ll be working for him to win, because I believe we need him to win.
2nd ballot, but I am very concerned about his electability right now.
