Ambinder reports that as a result of the staff shake-up today, the McCain campaign will likely “abandon” the regional campaign manager structure that has been in place for several months. This is a massive organizational change just four months out from the general election. Ben Golnik is the regional campaign manager for the area that includes Minnesota. Betcha he’s pretty frustrated today.

Ben Golnik is a great guy and a terrific political strategist. If his plans change with McCain there are plenty of folks that will be at his door the next day.
If you are taking pleasure in someone losing their job, then you are an a-hole.
