Walter Hanson, I agree 100%,

Perhaps some links that prove if we start more drilling immediately, the price at the pump would immediately go down.

That would take down some of these moonbats, wouldn't it.

Everyone knows you are the smartest man in the room.

Great Job!

Walter, just because Uncle Ronnie said "Facts are stupid things" doesn't mean you, personally, have to prove it.

However, your post just did.

Here's history, at a level even you can follow:

During the late 70's, because of the Arab Oil Embargo, Jimmy Carter put on a sweater, turned down the thermostat, and installed a solar panel on the roof.

Reagan got elected in 1980 and said: "(cheney) THAT." Reagan took off his sweater, turned up the thermostat, and ripped that solar panel off the roof.

And that, Walter, is all the difference between the parties you are capable to absorb in one post.

Come back again, and you'll be schooled again, Walter.

Wow you folks have a lot to learn.

Obviously Alec thinks that the Republicans want oil to shoot up to $10
or higher. Assume me Alec the Republicans are proposing solutions to
try to lower oil prices and hence gasoline prices. The Democrats on
the other hand:

Love higher gasoline taxes and other taxes.

Democrats think we can conserve our way to the solution. Recently we
drove 30 billion miles less. If you assume an average of 20 mpg that
is one billion gallons of gas. If you get 42 gallons of gas from a
barrel of oil that is about 36 million barrells of oil or basically
two days use. How are we gettting the other 363 days?

Obama thinks we can speed the alternate technology, but complains
about the years it will take for more drilling. Um, if you Democrats
haven't been blocking it for years it would've already been being
produced today and we won't have the high prices of today.

But than again the average reader of MN Publius is a mind numb
robot who listens to Democrat talking points and doesn't know how to
think.

Swiftee, I agree 100%,

It is creepy when a moonbat pays to much attention to James Dale Guckert,(Jeff Gannon) of Talon News. Moonbats are the opposite of Talon news.

If one examines the archives, Jeff is someone who agrees with us 100%.

http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://talonnews.com

Everyone knows the things that came out of his mouth always reflected the Republican party line. Talon news and you, Swiftee, were in 100% agreement on every issue, that's why Talon news was so awesome.

He always repeated the talking points perfectly.

Obviously, Jeff Gannon was doing nothing wrong because he had a lot of access to the White House.

http://rawstory.com/exclusives/byrne/secret_service_gannon_424.htm

Stand behind Jeff Gannon, Swiftee, because he agrees with us 100%

Say "johnson"?

We're all, I'm sure, happy to know that you have nice memories of "Gannon"; but I gotta say that I'm reeeeally getting creeped out now.

Maybe a few hours respite from one-handed internet surfing is in order, eh?

"Grease spot on the campaign trail." That's a pretty good description--of that motorcycle grease spot known as Tom Swift. Seriously, every picture I've seen of this dirtbag looks like he washes his hair in a deep-fryer.

Yet you want to break bread during an election cycle with him. Remember, Mike doesn't do ANYTHING unless there is something in it for him. You are giving him credibility along with an opportunity to expand his source base. Let's be clear, he is NOT, repeat NOT, one of us. He is not an independent blogger sharing his personal insights. he is a Paid By Republican operative whose career is to advance the Republican agenda at any cost!

Mitch actually explained quite clearly today Mikes Modus Operandi:

""“The goal” he said “is to teach you to dehumanize your enemy”; to see the enemy not as a human being, but as a “Jap” or a “Kraut” or a “Gook” or whomever the enemy of the day is, a not-quite-human thing who doesn’t rate the consideration a human does.""

Let me know if you do something like this after the cycle, it may be interesting, but right now, you are just playing into his hand. You can deny that if you want, but it doesn't change the reality!

Swiftee, I agree 100%,

I suggest drawing a cartoon of MN Publius as a penis and balls on your blog, as you like to do to those you disagree with.

Everyone knows that is how to treat moonbats, because they deserve it.

Keep up the great patriotic work.

Great Job!

A couple of things here:

Mike has good video playback. What happens sometimes it's the person
who records the message and puts it on youtube that has the poor
equipment. So virtually speaking since you already knew these facts
why do the attack unless you're trying to discredit the attack.

As for MN Publius.

Who pays Mike's salary? To the best of my knowledge if he has an
apparent conflict such as his being a paid Kennedy staffer he mentioned
it every time he discussed the case on his radio show. Mike does a far
better job of disclosing his interests than you.

You must be a paid Obama person so why do you admit that every post?

The second problem with the fuss is that you have nothing to complain
about. You had a potential voter asking a candidate for Congress
questions because the candidate's postions are stupid (the clip clearly
showed she was trying to explain some facts to Sarvi) and to have his
campaign person (in this case a State Senator telling him not to answer
the question or take the comment). Are you Democrats afraid to learn
facts?

The third problem is a double standard you seem to have. Al Franken,
Sarvi, and others do stupid things you bite your tongues or defend it.
but if a Republican does nothing wrong like Norm Coleman's wife appearing
in a great commercial you go and attack her.

You folks have a lot to learn. The problem is people aren't seriously
examining you folks don't have the solutions to the problems we have
like energy!

I thought the audio quality on Broadkorb's video was really poor. Don't you think, Ollie, that he oughta be able to upgrade his equipment in an election year? Especially for stuff he's collecting so close to home.

Sorry--but since Bluestem Prairie is a personal website, Ollie Ox isn't "earning her keep," just contentedly grazing the broad fields o' the Internet. But thanks for correcting my error.

Dear Oil Sheep,

We could eliminate all environmental regulations and open up every inch of ocean and land. The oil companies won't drill.

The oil companies like 4 dollar gas, and they like 5 or 6 dollar gas even more! Drilling costs money, and would lower the price, which would both hurt profit. They won't do it.

Building refineries costs money and would lower the price. The oil companies are the ones who are most against new refineries. It affects their profits.

Deep sea drilling vessels are booked up for the next 3 years, so they couldn't even drill anyway. And guess what, they won't build more drill vessels because, you guessed it, it costs money and reduces profits.

This is the typical sleight of hand game you guys fall for every time. While the corporatists and their Republican surrogates rape Americans, they distract you with "It's the Democrats".

The oil companies already have drilled wells in Alaska with reserves bigger than ANWR, and they capped them!

Couple obvious questions: Do you think Exxon likes making huge profits?

Do you honestly think Exxon or any other company, big or small, would jeopardize their record profits?

Do you honestly think that Bush/Cheney, oilmen both, care if you pay $10 a gallon?

I'll answer that one. They do care. They love it, and so does McCain. The Republicans will never do anything to get in the way of oil profits, and they will use Democrats as scapegoats to distract guys like you from the real culprits. If you think the major oil companies give a rat's ass what happens to America, you are sad and naive.

And Dems, our talking points should not be "save the environment" because we'll never win that argument. We need to focus the blame consistantly and often back on the real crimminals, the oil companies. Even given the opportunity, they do not crrently and will not in the future increase supply.
