Priscilla, Lord Faris (stole that one from Mitch) announced yesterday that she would challenge Al Franken for the DFL nomination in the primary this fall. I was listening to MPR and heard Lord Faris say that she that she wouldn’t run if Franken was ahead of Coleman in the polls (I’ll post the audio clip if MPR puts it online).
So, when will the Lord Faris announce her departure from the race? She hasn’t filed as of this writing.
On another filing note, St. Rep. Mark Olson (R-Crazytown) has yet to file and its unclear if he plans to do so before the deadline this afternoon. Olson was expelled from the Republican Caucus late last year and was defeated at his endorsing convention this spring by former Secretary of State Mary Kiffmeyer. Capitol staffers all across the S.O.B. are crossing their fingers and hoping that he calls it quits because the loquacious Olson adds at least two hours to every floor debate (and he once threw a piece of office equipment at a staffer in a fit of rage).

I have it on good authority that Olson will, in fact, be running again in 16B as an independent. However, things are getting wacky in the district as there will now be a special election in the Senate District for Wergin’s seat. Kiffmeyer just might jump over to run for that seat.

Wow. Did you know that Porn-O-Rama threw a chair at Michael Medved once? If someone could dredge up a few pornographic verses that Olson may have penned at sometime in the past, he could be Porn-O-Rama’s first alternate!

What has the conservative party devolved into. Kiffmeyer,among others, is part of the in plain sight White Supremacist group, Minnesota Majority, and being an unapologetic white supremacist is now considered part of the main stream conservatve party.
Saw Bill Moyers a couple days ago. He had two ultra conservatives on, and himself. It was a great show. There was no over the top yelling or shouting over each others points. It was a respectful discussion between people with different ideals. That is a conservatism that is genuine. No this White Supremacist crap Kiffmeyer and the Minnesota Majority put out.

I think it’s pretty hilarious that you would post something about having a respectful discussion and call Secretary Kiffmeyer a White Supremacist. When you slander people with such despicable names, it shows you can’t argue issues.
Kiffmeyer has made statements which are characteristic of white supremacy.
