The St. Paul Police Department in a training exercise aimed at preparing for the hookertastic habits of our honored guests next month accidentally picked up a Republican early!
From the Strib:
Peter Hong, a longtime Republican operative in Minnesota, was arrested Wednesday afternoon on a charge of soliciting prostitution in St. Paul.
When asked for comment Michael St. Cyril, a low level desk jockey for the St. Paul Police Department said:
“Whoa dude, this is like catching a fish out of season — we didn’t know if we should throw him back and wait to get him in a month or what.”
Yolanda, a long time University Ave woman of the night had this to say about the arrest
“We were told to be prepared for Republicans, but we were told that it was going to be the begining of September. I dunno… maybe he was doing some advance scouting. I didn’t hear anything weird about this guy, but I know that some guy from Louisiana has already called around looking for some crazy [stuff] .”
Let this serve as a warning to all of the law abiding, God-fearing good people of Minnesota. Republicans are already among us, keep your daughters off the streets of St. Paul.

Was he push poling?
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Whammy!
tasteless
Peter Hong, a longtime Republican operative in Minnesota, was 100% correct on the issues.
Good thing Al Franken doesn’t have any history with prostitution…….right?
Did you like the Senator Vittner (R/LA) reference? Perhaps the RNC will bring back memories of when St. Paul was a haven for another criminal enterprise and Al Capone vacationed there.
I am just dreading the convention. Some news site had a deal about a Semi-truckers deal where they are bringing in 150 to 300 16 wheelers to protest deasel prices under the Republican oilmen’s administration. Any idea about how screwed up our roads could be with that many POed truckers with CBs and trucks.
If my passport wasn’t out of date I would be visiting friends in Vancouver during the RNC. I certainly won’t be visiting St. Paul.
This pretty much kills Hong’s run for office; unlike the Democrat candidate for US Senate, Republicans don’t think this kind of thing is funny, or satire….what was Hong running for again?
“Good thing Al Franken doesn’t have any history with prostitution…….right?”
When and where was Al ever arrested for soliciting a prostitute? Writing jokes about prostitutes and hiring them are quite different things, believe it or not. Your desperation is showing!
Swiftee - You deciding what is satire is like Tim Droogsma deciding what is appropriate on Lake Street.
@please: Al Franken has absolutely no history with prostitution that I’m aware of. Moreover, and I’ve heard this from multiple sources, the Frankens seem to have one of the most sincere and loyal marriages in show business.
Swiftee, I agree 100%,
Nice attempt at minimizing the damage by claiming this Republican Campaign operative, an individual not unlike yourself, was not running for office, so it doesn’t matter.
All he did was serve as a spokesman for Gov. Tim Pawlenty’s campaign in 2002 and for the Bush-Cheney campaign in Minnesota in 2004. You havn’t gotten that far yet, but you’re well on your way.
I think that your strategy on minimizing the politics of this additional Republican John may be more effective if you threaten people you disagree with on this, as you often do.
Still though, you’re doing a pretty good job at killing this story. Everyone can clearly see that.
Great Job!
So if perverts are not running for office… it is just a fine and dandy thing to work for the GOP? Now even if we could forget the long list of elected Republican sexual deviants, don’t you think you should sort of keep your staff somewhat under control vis a vis street hookers?
The real money from Republican sexual deviants will not be made by the street hookers… a good guess is that planes, trains and automobiles will be rushing rent boys and girls to the RNC for big bucks. We can only hope that the Saintly City will return to its’ former glory once the GOP perverts leave town.
Hong’s relationship with the GOP, outside of what he does in the voting booth, is done. His best option is to call Eliot Spitzer for advice…or at least some new phone numbers.
Swiftee — Shut up and grow a sense of humor.
Sean
*edit* Scratch that. I deleted all of Swiftee’s comments on this thread, because that chromosome missing numbnut, posted yet again personal information about a commenter. The last time Swiftee did this (oh-so-long ago! Last night!) Matt deleted it and noted that we didn’t allow that.
I wondered, why, why oh why would Swiftee do this — and then it dawned on me, Swiftee has been posting pictures of the head he thinks with and it’s nothing to brag about so he just can’t help it, he doesn’t know any better.
I’d recommend to any future commenter’s to leave Swiftee alone. He’s an idiot. And not just any kind of idiot, but an incorrigible one at that.
Norm is booking his dad a early september tropical vacation as we speak…
Norm Coleman’s father is dead. Sean
Sorry about my previous post. I was referring to Franken’s jokes about hookers. No allegation of cheating
on his wife. While I don’t like Franken the politician, I’m sure he is a faithful husband.
As noted upthread, making jokes about prostitution is very different from soliciting prostitution. The comparison is not appropriate.
One should remember that they were shipping in temps from overseas for the New York convention.
Thus making a joke & tying another Republican operative to hookers when they pretend to be so holy, is appropriate to burst the phony bubble
they encase themselves in. Its a joke. Else they’d better take care of their hypocrites, if its not funny.
Republicans seem to have every bit the same foibles as other people, maybe more, given the numbers that get caught.
If the guy wants to do hookers, I personally have no great problem with him doing so, so long as its consensual, with adults & not violent. It might not be legal. That’s another thing entirely.
Amazing how much the RW can have their nose in other people’s business when it doesn’t affect them at all.
ts all about telling other people what THEY should do.
I wouldn’t legislate this Repub’s morality or lack thereof so long as there is no victimization of another person.
I may not care for it, but its not the end of the world. YET.
Just don’t try to sell their scam as though they sit at the right hand of God. That’s when we need to care.
Trying to point at specific people who do NOT have those issues, merely to distract & dissemble — -> is pathetic.
Sean Broom,
I can understand why you decide to edit or delete posts that are offensive. But please apply the standard uniformly. The comments about Norm Coleman’s deceased father are out of bounds. Norman Coleman, Sr. is buried in Arlington for fighting on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. I believe he deserves some respect for that. It’s sad when politics has become so poisoned that the families of politicians are subject to cheap shots and innuendo — even when they are deceased.
As for your comments about keeping your daughters off the street because the Republicans are coming. Well, fine. But the same goes for people’s sons in Denver. After all, Barney Frank will be there and Frank had a gay prostitution ring running out of his Washington home. http://www.boston.com/news/local/articles/2004/08/14/frank_tells_of_his_despair_during_14689_sex_scandal/
Chris-
Your story refers to ‘allegations’ of a prostitution ring.
Your post should be deleted.
Larry Craig, Mark Foley, and David Vitter think so too.
Chris, I agree 100%,
Thank you for posting the Barney Frank link. I’m certain nobody has ever heard that story before. It does take down moonbats, doesn’t it.
FYI you Liberals, Al Gore said he invented the internet.
Kerry didn’t deserve his medals.
Ted Kennedy is a drunk…..etc etc etc…
Any of you Liberals who want links to the facts on those undebateable talking points, because you’ve never heard them before, just let me know.
Everybody knows the families of these particular Liberals don’t matter, because they disagree with Chris and the Minnesota Republican leadership.
It’s sad when politics has become so poisoned that the families of politicians are subject to cheap shots and innuendo .
Great Job, Obviously More Intelligent Than Any Liberal Chris
Were any of the people in this article the “escorts” involved?
http://rakemag.com/blogs/defenestrator/2008/07/the-2008-most-beautiful-people-capitol-awards
I guess maybe I am confused to as where the proper line is to what is an acceptable reward for sexual titillation. I guess sexual objectification is more wrong when it involves money and people from the opposing party.
Maybe MNPublius guys should make an effort to call out the destructive behavior of some local media at the same time they shed a little light on the Republicans. It wouldn’t take much of an effort to do both. Or maybe the guys who run this site think judging those people tasked with creating law by the size of their tits and the fullness of their lips is completely appropriate and even a little fun.
Then again, I guess they would have to being Franken supporters.
Lojasmo,
“As noted upthread, making jokes about prostitution is very different from soliciting prostitution. The comparison is not appropriate.”
You have to remember, with Republicans it is all about what you say, not what you actually do. You can shit on the troops and then wipe your ass with the constitution, but as long as you put a yellow sticker on your car and say the pledge, you are patriotic.
So, in the same vein, Republicans can screw as many boys and girls, and cheat on their spouses all they want, as long as they pray in school and believe in creationism, but if you make a joke, that is terrible. Typical.
Chris,
The guy with the Norm Coleman commit admitted he made a mistake and said he was sorry. Sean also publicly corrected him. When was the last time you publicly corrected Swiftee or admitted you were wrong? Maybe yo could apologies for calling honest people trying to have an honest debate liars, like when you called me a liar a few posts ago.
Thanks, Alec
Norm Coleman - not his father - is a story. As Mitch Berg from the Northern Alliance Radio Network - and Tom Swift’s buddy, stated:
“It’s been an open secret forever in Saint Paul and Minnesota politics; Norm and his wife have a rather unconventional marriage. Schultz is being disingenuous if he claims this is some big revelation (or, equally likely, the dim little bulb inside his thick little head hasn’t quite quite figured it out yet, and his prime directive, “blow hard first, ask questions later”, is in control).”
The reason Norm’s “Unconventional Marriage” is an issue is that Norm Coleman is a huge supporter of the Federal Marriage Amendment, and talks about his support of “traditional marriage.” He also supports abstinence only - condoms don’t work - programs - which teach only abstinence, and only about how contraception, and condoms fail - but not about STD or pregnancy prevention for those who are sexually active. The abstinence only programs teach that the only appropriate outlet for sex is within marriage. Hopefully Norm Coleman lives up to that one. People who publicly espouse those values, should also live up to them. Doesn’t adultery harm more heterosexual marriages than the possibility of gay people being included in the institution of marriage?
A while back I wrote Norm Coleman suggesting that he hold Vitter to the same standards he held Larry Craig. He wrote back - but didn’t address the question.
This is embarrasing and should be denounced for the smut it is!!!!
Or maybe the guys who run this site think judging those people, tasked with creating law, by the size of their tits and the fullness of their lips is completely appropriate and even a little fun.
You’re not talking about John Marty here, are you KH? I mean, he does have full lips, but I think he’s lacking in the man booby department.
I thought the Republican, Family Values, Anti-Gay, Born Again folks usually went for the boys…
Odds are that the person posing as a prostitute was a man.
If they say this guy was soliciting a woman then I am pretty sure he will get off as even the Judge will doubt that he would solicit a woman.
Nope, James - most of the time you hear about the folks that go after the men - but there are plenty of family values heterosexual hypocrites.
How many times has Frank been re-elected? He must be doing something right.
His customers certainly think so, Richard!
Republican Pervert Swiftee,
It takes one to know one. Hopefully nobody here will try to look up your extensive record of perversion on the internet. It is embarassing, sure, but hey, you are allowed to act however you want because you are 100% correct on the issues.
Obviously you are not embarassed by your behavior.
Great Job, despite your well documented and easy to find personal problems and issues.
I think it is shameful to attack Norm Coleman and his wife for abstaining from sex and adopting their children. The world would be a much better place if Norm Sr. had done the same.
Looks like I have hit a nerve there, TFRWG. Is Barney a special friend of yours? Sorry…didn’t mean to hit you so close to home, buddy; you’re still my 100% #1 favorite cornhole dude!
No one has to spend time surfing the internet to find anything about me, TFRWG. Unlike our snivelling, tear squirting Democrat counterparts, we’ve got nothing to hide and are proud to stand by our words and actions, right TFRWG?
Tom Swift, I’m in the book!
Republican Porn Linking Troll Swiftee I agree 100%,
Like I said, you are not embarassed by your own behavior, and I think that’s just great. What people think about us does not matter, because we are 100% correct on the issues. Also, everybody knows that does not make you a hypocrite for criticizing others for doing exactly what you do.
It seems like you and I, the typical Republicans, just say the same things over and over and over and over and over again, and never progress beyond that. That is not embarassing is it?
There are some who may think that there is nothing else there in our brains but these loops. What they don’t realize is that we Republicans can’t win unless we behave like that.
Great Job Vulgar Caricature Artist and Porn Linker Swiftee
Actually Tom Swift - I’m more interested in pointing out the hypocrisy of heterosexual “Federal Marriage Amendment” supporters who actions don’t support their support for “traditional marriage.” An example is Democrat Stephanie Herseth (now Stephanie Herseth Sandin).
http://lloydletta.blogspot.com/2005/03/democratic-marriage-protection.html
Another example is David Vitter (more egregious).
http://righthandthief.blogspot.com/2007/07/canal-steet-madam-says-vitter-was.html
Tom Swift and Peter LaBarbera tend to focus on the gay men.
I can only agree 50%, TFRWG.
You cannot criticize Barney Frank at the risk of being a hypocrite, since he’s your #1 favorite Democrat pervert….I understand, ‘cause that’s not how we Republicans roll.
But I can, and will be happy to take up the slack for you, ‘cause that is how we Republicans roll.
I guess I don’t have to remind you to keep it wide anymore….looks like you’ve got that covered 100%, TFRWG!~
Two questions:
1. Who’s the lady in photo?
2. Swiftee, what is it with you and all of the homosexual references?
Poor swiftee seems to have forgotten that:
A- Frank was cleared of any wrong doing and
B-Being gay does not make you a “pervert”
Doesn’t that keep it wide reference closet homosexual Senator Larry Craig, Republican, who was arrested for indecent behavior in a Men’s bathroom at MSP Airport. How exactly does that promote Republicanism and say something bad about Barney Frank, a congressman who is openly gay and seemingly could not care less if anybody knows it?
Am I missing something in this… other than “Keep it Wide” seemingly denigrates Republicans?
Swiftee, I agree 100%,
ALthough I’m concerned. That’s all you’ve got?
You have to threaten people who disagree with you and then you win, as you’ve shown these moonbats before.
At least try to mix it up a little bit and use more of a variety of talking points we are supposed to repeat. For some reason you get stuck on one issue.
You forgot about Al Gore inventing the internet, or Ted Kennedy being a drunk, or Democrats hating America, or Liberals wanting us to lose in Iraq….there’s just so many to choose from, yet again you choose just one issue, for some reason.
Get back on your game, man. We have an election to win by insulting, using vulgarities, and threatening people who disagree with us.
I expect you to raise the bar, please.
Otherwise, Great Job, Vulgar Porn Linker And Fellow American Hater Swiftee
Hey, “amuse”!
Glad to see you came out from under your bed. Did mom scare away the closet monster for you? Good for you li’l fella.
SeanH, if denial makes life that much easier for you, you go with it brother.
Speaking of America haters, TFRWG, it looks like
Osama’sObama’s traveling circus hasn’t gone over very well in the UK. But the French love him, so that’s pretty good and stuff.Barack Obama is overwhelmingly Britain’s choice to be the next US president, five times more popular than his Republican rival, John McCain, a Guardian/ICM poll shows today. Carried out ahead of the Democratic candidate’s visit to Britain next week, the poll reveals that 53% feel certain he would make the best president, with only 11% favouring McCain; 36% declined to express an opinion.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/jul/14/barackobama.johnmccain
That’s from a Guardian article. 53% Obama, 11% McCain
Just a friendly reminder: If there is someone on the interwebs that bothers you, just send a contribution to planned parenthood in their name.
Swiftee, I agree 100%,
That’s more like it. Clearly, you have taken these moonbats down with your latest post.
Great Job!! LOLOLOLS
Say, Ignoramus Maximus? Why not just suggest everyone personally take a ball pein hammer to an infant and cut out the middle man?
Richard, you have convinced me. With those kinds of numbers,
OsamaObama should turn in his US citizenship tomorrow and run for Queen of England. He could easily parlay that into Empress of the EU and everyone would be happy!Say TFRWG?
Don’t you think Ignoramus Maximus is doing a Great Job 100% representing the Democrat party by reminding moonbats that murdering the unborn really bothers Republicans?
I think he deserves to be re-named TSLWG, or Typical Subhuman Left Wing Guy, what do you think?
Minnesota Republican Swiftee, I agree 100%,
There are some who might say the wheels have come off your bus.
They are just moonbats who hate America and want to lose in Iraq.
You are now officially a Typical Frightened Minnesotan Right Wing Guy. Your strong, bold, steady leadership has helped take the Minnesota Republican blogoshpere in an awesome direction. Your latest posts are your very best, judging by the MDE high journalistic standard.
When Minnesota Republican Norm Coleman wins, he gives the Minnesotan Republicans who are like you power. YOU, Swiftee, will be able to help take America in the direction YOU want, just as you are trying to do right now on this blog.
You’ll help lead Minnesota. Too bad you lost that election of yours, but at least you have this.
Great Job, Vulgar Porn Linker And Fellow-American Hater Swiftee!!
Feeding trolls makes them happy.
Excuse me Swiftee but childish threats from morons do bother me. I’m not hiding anywhere… your stupidity needs to be held in check. Every time I see you cross the line, I will complain. Should I ever have a difficulty with you in real life I will deal with that also. See at a certain point you are liable for your actions… unfortunately as a Republican troll you have no concept of personal responsibility.
Do not mistake rationality for weakness.
Wow, I got busy with other stuff and I didn’t get by here for a while. I see you guys have been busy discussing the important issues of the day, like foreign policy, energy policy, infrastructure, tax issues. I am so glad that this site has gathered Minnesota’s finest minds to dissect the two major candidates running for U.S. Senate this fall. It certainly helps a citizen decide. And we all know how important it is to have an informed electorate.
So thanks so much for such a serious discussion of the issues that concern us all. It would be a shame if our precious democracy, created with such blood and sacrifice, were to degenerate to merely campaigns of name-calling and mud-slinging.
sean….
sorry for the joke on Norm’s pop, it was a shot from the hip at the end of my work day. Respect for the dead and all it was just too easy. All veterans deserve prostitutes…
Rhus,
Again, what the hell are you people doing attacking Norm Coleman’s family? It’s disgusting. Coleman and his wife have suffered personal tragedy when they lost two of their children in infancy from Zellweger Syndrome. It’s truly shocking and tasteless that you’re willing to make fun of people’s families and their suffering. Stick to the issues and leave the family alone.
Richard,
Frank was censured by the House of Representatives for his conduct, which included using his position as a Congressman to influence the legal system in Washington, D.C. on behalf of his lover.
If you think 95% of Americans give a rat’s ass about what subjects of the British Monarchy think of Obama or McCain, I think you’re sorely mistaken. The only foreign “poll” I care about is who al Qaeda wants (or in this case does not want) as our Commander in Chief.
Chris, I agree 100%,
We’re supposed to say if Obama wins, Al Qaeda will be dancing in the streets. The real enemy is Barack Obama and everyone who supports him. This includes your employees, friends, family and neighbors who support Barack Obama.
The enemies of America are all around us. They are the guy in front of us in line at the grocery store, or the man driving the SmartCar that you’re stuck behind on the freeway. These people are the enemy. I encourage you to repeat the correct talking points as frequently as possible, so we can defeat this vicious enemy of fellow Americans. Maybe give the guy in the smart car the finger, as you do with your comments here.
Obviously, your judgment is much better than theirs is, because as you have stated many times on this blog, you are much much more intelligent than any of these Liberals. They naturally sympathize terrorists and want to lose in Iraq, and your vapors about them is quite justified. They deserve to be misrepresented by you.
The families of any Minnesota Liberal obviously are targets because of their support for Barack Obama, the enemy of America. That is permissable because they are 100% wrong on the issues, and probably are lazy and stupid. There can be no criticism, however, of any Republican candidates family, because that is always consistently shocking and tasteless, regardless of circumstances.
You represent the Minnesota Republican Party very well in your comments.
Great Job Smartest Man In The Room Chris
Chris, Al Qaeda obviously prefers George Bush. He alone has been Al Qaeda’s greatest recruiting tool. Bush has sapped the treasury of our nation of over 1 Trillion dollars by starting a war of choice, leading 4000 Americans and arguably 1,000,000 Iraqi’s to their death. He has also been entirely incompetent in the task of bringing the largest mass murderer in American history to justice.
News Flash! Chris awaits guidance from Al Qaeda on how to vote!
What a fool…
attilla, Don’t forget….
Al Qaeda says Iraq is the central front in the war on terror, so therefore it is.
If we change our way of life here in America, then the terrorists have won. Now get out there and go shopping.
9/11 changed everything.
If you think 95% of Americans give a rat’s ass about what subjects of the British Monarchy think of Obama or McCain, I think you’re sorely mistaken. The only foreign “poll” I care about is who al Qaeda wants (or in this case does not want) as our Commander in Chief.
I think this section of Chris’s post bears repeating because it’s a nearly perfect example of a ad hominem arguement. First of all Chris, the polling information I posted was in response to the resident doorknob’s contention that the visit to GB by Obama was not going well. The polling information showed quite the opposite. Go figure. Right wing poster boy for the “Try not to drop your baby on it’s head repeatedly Foundation” posts some implication and it’s countered by facts. Sound familiar. Secondly, your tactic of trying to connect Obama with al Qaeda is beneath contempt. It’s shows how you and your party have nothing to run on. Fascist tactics like that are not going to work in this election cycle. Try convincing me with the issues how Grampy McSame will repair the tremendous damage Bush has done to our nation. You might take note here, I said “OUR” nation. You see, I don’t consider you a traitor just because we disagree. You imply Obama is in league with our enemy just because he’s a Democrat. You want to talk issues, let’s talk issues. But stop questioning the patriotism and love of country of your intellectual and ethical betters. It’s tiresome.
Frank was censured by the House of Representatives for his conduct False
Swiftee… god, what a name!
Are you really THAT over-the-top?
Only a neocon would think about ball peen hammers! And run with such a blatant double standard.
Sometimes I wonder about some of you guys on the right: Is EVERYTHING really fair in your quest?
If the only thing Chris cares about, is Al Q… does that mean that he has no friends?
Amazingly, he hit on the fact that foreign countries do not vote on the presidency.
Does that mean they do not matter? That sounds so incredibly authoritarian & bitter. And disconnected. Grade school defiant.
He doesn’t seem to care what anyone here thinks much either!! So why is he here?
It seems to me that Bush cared a great lot to convince other countries to join into a “coalition of the willing” at one time.
To make all aspects of the war appear to have broad support without any reservations.
Oooh, did the prospect of helping women get birth control strike a nerve with our resident moonbat? Look! It’s Sara Jane Olson, and she’s moving to Delaware Avenue.
Mockingbird, Chris is an eighth grader who, unless he leaves these blogs alone and buckles down, will not get past summer school, again. Chris, I know you can do it. Eighth grade will not hold you back forever, this year you can pass.
Funny thing.
The (failed) drive to expel or censure (then) representative Frank was led by none other than toe-tapping bathroom goblin (then) representative Larry Craig.
The irony is boundless.
Barney Frank is chair of the House Financial Services Committe, has worked extensively with George Bush on economic issues this year, is considered a well respected Congressional Scholar, and is generally regarded as an extremely intelligent man. He is Harvard educated, with undergraduate, a law degree and PHD level studies in Philosophy while matriculating there. He has taught at Boston University, The John F Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, and the University of Massechusetts.
He was reprimanded for the Steve Gobie incident, having been cleared of involvement in Gobie’s schemes. Frank himself reported Gobie’s activites to the Ethics Committee. No censure was given.
I believe it is up to one’s constituents as to if this type of thing flies or not. Barney Frank’s constituents were OK with it. Elliot Spitzer’s would not have been.
Larry Craig? That is such a messy case, he is doing the right thing by stepping down. Did he or didn’t he? He signed a confession, but he says he wanted to just make it go away. There is a history of thing type of thing nagging at Craig. I know Idahoans pretty well, and I think that without making a huge deal of it, they would have seen to it that he wasn’t re-elected.
This Hong guy is not a public servant. He made a stupid move and got caught. You play with fire and sometimes you get burned. I’m sure it won’t be the last convention-goer picked up before the month of Sept is over.
“The (failed) drive to expel or censure (then) representative Frank was led by none other than toe-tapping bathroom goblin (then) representative Larry Craig. The irony is boundless.”
I agree jismo. They are two peas in a pod, after all.
Typical Frightened Minnesota Right Wing Guy Swiftee, I agree 100%,
Thank you for referring to someone you disagree witrh as “jismo” in your comments.
That is the only way we will win the hearts and minds of Minnesota voters, by ridiculing moonbats we disagree with with juvinile, disgusting knicknames.
The irony is boundless.
Great Job Porn Caricature Artist, Porn Linker, and Minnesota Republican “Swiftee”
attilla,
That’s right, there were no al Qaeda before September 11, 2001. And the pentagon and World Trade Center never were hit by airplanes. And the U.S.S. Cole never got bombed either.
”..by ridiculing moonbats we disagree with with juvinile, disgusting knicknames.”
Say, TFRWG?
Great job lampooning illiterate moonbats; “juvinile”….LOLOLS!
“The irony is boundless.”
I agree 100%.
Oops..missed one!
“knicknames”…one for three, great job TFRWG! LOLOLS!
Chris, I agree 100%,
That’s a pretty good misrepresentation of attilla’s comments. Now, nobody knows what attilla really was saying, they only understand what YOU say attilla meant, whatever that is.
Maybe you could elaborate, and explain further what you are saying about attilla for these moonbats. Are you saying he is stupid?
Great Job Highly Intelligent Minnesota Republican Chris
Oops..missed one!
“knicknames”…one for three; great job, TFRWG! LOLOLS!
Swiftee, I agree 100%
I am a typical frightened right wing guy, after all, Typical Frightened Minnesota Right Wing Guy “Swiftee”
Keep up the great work.
OOPS your maturity is showing. That will only win hearts and minds.
Obviously, we right wing guys are the smartest men in the room.
Great Job Porn Caricature Artist, Porn Linker, and Minnesota Republican “Swiftee”
@ DtM
“Larry Craig? That is such a messy case, he is doing the right thing by stepping down. Did he or didn’t he?”
No, he did not. He stated he would resign, but then reneged on his promise.
“I agree jismo. They are two peas in a pod, after all.”
Actually, no. Craig is a ‘happily married heterosexual man’ who just likes to troll bathrooms for illicit homosexual encounters, and who sponsored an amendment to banish same sex marriage (because the institution of marriage is somehow ‘sacred’) In other words, Craig is a rank hypocrite.
Frank is a homosexual man.
lojasmo,
I agree with you that Larry Craig is a hypocrite. I don’t agree with you that Barney Frank is pure as the wind driven snow. He used his Congressional office to fix 33 parking tickets for the guy who was running the prostitution ring out of Frank’s D.C. apartment. Even the Boston Globe called on Frank to resign. http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Barney_Frank
And let’s not forget N.Y. Governor Elliot Spitzer who spent tens of thousands of dollars on hookers while he was prosecuting others for the very same thing.
Let’s keep the discussion focused on contemporary issues, M’kay?
Oh…Chris….before we move on to current events, your parking allegations are undocumented.
Anonymous,
You asked for it, so here it is straight from the Boston Globe:
Back in 1985, Frank had engaged the services of a male escort named Stephen Gobie, who had advertised his “hot bottom” in a personal ad. Over the next two years, while Frank was trying to decide whether to come out, he and Gobie carried on a clandestine affair, during which time Frank hired Gobie as a driver despite knowing Gobie was on probation for drug possession and for possession of child pornography. Frank used his House privileges to fix Gobie’s parking tickets. He wrote a memo trying to clear Gobie from probation that was disingenuous at best and an outright deception at worst. Gobie repaid Frank by running a prostitution service out of Frank’s Capitol Hill apartment. http://www.boston.com/news/globe/magazine/articles/2005/10/02/to_be_frank/
Slurpee says “This pretty much kills Hong’s run for office”
NopE, Slurpee, this almost guarantees a GOP endorsement for whatever office Hong wants to run for.
As for St. Paul hiding their daughters — don’t they already have to do that every time Norm returns to the state?
Well, let’s see:
The DFL president of the Minnesota Senate is a convicted drunk who endangered the lives of Minnesotans by driving drunk. He has gone unpunished by his party and his caucus.
The DFL chair of the House Higher Education Committee is a convicted drunk who endangered the lives of Minnesotans by driving drunk. He has gone unpunished by his party and his caucus.
The DFL chair of the House State Government Finance Committe is a convicted thief who helped sabotage a sitting House member’s re-election campaign. She has gone unpunished by her party and her caucus.
Um, Minnesota DFL, you have no stones to throw when it comes to reprehensible acts of lawbreaking.
