Al Franken with Wolf Blitzer in Denver

As Al Franken explains to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, The Situation Room “explains the whole situation… in that room.” I think this is a good example of what Al’s talking about.

That thar was a bit of silliness. I like it. I wish we’d see Al a little more at ease more often. He’s going to be a great senator, though….being a little more at ease on the campaign trail would help get him there.

Why is Al Franken not speaking at the convention? He came out to Denver for a fundraiser but he can’t address the delegates? This is one of the biggest and closest U.S. Senate races in the country. The Democratic party should want to show case their candidate and let the people of Minnesota see him on prime time. Other senate candidates are speaking. Norm is speaking at his convention. Why they would not want to use this opportunity is confusing, unless they don’t want people to see him.

Norm is speaking at his convention, but he has said that if it wasn’t in the Twin Cities he wouldn’t even attend.

    Andy-

    Your concern is duly noted.

The group of Democratic senate candidates just stepped off the floor accompanied by Chuck Schumer. Al Franken was not with them. People have to be wondering where he is. Kind of embarassing.

    Andy-

Which non-incumbent democratic senate candidates spoke from the stage?

Comparing Norm (sitting senator) to Al (challenger) speaking at the conventions, is disingenuous. Your bias is showing. As to Al, he’s CAMPAIGNING…you know, what GOOD candidates do in an election season.

    Thanks for your concern.
