BREAKING: Franken Will Get Endorsement of League of Conservation Voters

MNpublius has learned that early this afternoon, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) President Gene Karpinski will announce at the Minnesota State Fair the LCV’s endorsement of Al Franken. Ten days ago, LCV endorsed CD3 candidate Ashwin Madia. While it isn’t a huge surprise considering Coleman’s 33% rating on the LCV scorecard, it means a lot that the LCV president not only flew out here to give the endorsement but also to do it at Al Franken’s booth at the Minnesota State Fair.

More on this endorsement after it happens… currently scheduled for 1:15 at the Franken for Senate Booth.
