Bush-Coleman ‘08

The Franken campaign takes Norm Coleman to task on who’s working for whom. A real look at Coleman’s record “working together”:

Then they back the whole ad up, including more facts, by publishing his record: Bush-Coleman ‘08.

Very good ad… I like the tagline of “It’s time for Norm to go.” Everyone in America is waiting for that buffoon in the Whitehouse to get out of office… waiting to buy a car, do business and generally feel more comfortable about America’s future. Norm needs to be looking for a house in Dallas along with his Master.

Trailing in the polls by double-digits, Team Franken has released a new attack TV ad and website connecting President Bush to Senator Coleman. The attack ad and website contain no positive message about Al Franken. If Franken wanted to run against President Bush, he should have ran for president in 2004.

Team Franken is filled with east-coast transplants and Washington D.C. staffers who have parachuted into Minnesota to try and save Franken’s “foundering” campaign. As the clock ticks closer to Election Day, Minnesotans should expect more desperate attacks from Team Franken.

Bwahaha. Michael B. Broadkorb is now taking talking points from Team Clinton with her “double digit” lead in PA.

Since when is a within the MOE single digit difference “double digits” Broadkorpse?

    Michael,

Why don’t you post something against Coleman when he has negative ads (i.e bowlers). No double standard with you.

I’ve read some of your stuff for a while and find it hard to believe you have any credibility with your giant leaps to conclusions.

Only Broadknob would think an ad pointing out Norm Coleman’s voting record was an attack ad. What you no longer support your President? Are you ashamed of Republican core issues that Coleman voted for? Are you ashamed of Coleman’s record as a Senator?

    Mikey, Mikey, Mikey!!!!

This ad by no means is an “attack ad”. Merely stating the fact that Norm Coleman perfers to support the Bush Administration 90% and more when he votes is letting voters know where his loyalties lie.

It’s the same reason why a lot of Republicans lost in 2006 and will lose more this time around.

  7. 7 7 lojasmo

haha. Norm,s political score is directly proportional to the number of years to the next election.

  8. 8 8 Chris

    Kathy,

It’s funny because the Bush administration doesn’t have a vote in the U.S. Senate (except for when the Vice President breaks a tie). To say that he votes 90% with Bush is patently idiotic since Bush doesn’t get to vote.

Chris, here’s a civics lesson… you have not clue as to how the three branches of government work.

We have got to get Republicans out of the Education system…

  10. 10 10 lojasmo

Presidential support scores are similar to party unity scores.

Seriously, Chris…you guys need to keep up.

Furthermore, Kathy didn’t say “Votes 90% with Bush”

She said “Support the Bush administration 90%”

  12. 12 12 Chris

    lojasmo,

You hit the nail on the head. The scores have nothing to do with Bush but with the percentage of time Norm votes with the Republican conference. The ads are misleading.

    amuseinc,

If you think the President has a vote in the U.S. Senate, you must have gone to a Minneapolis public school. We need to get you back into the Education system so you can get a proper civics lesson.

    Chris, I agree 100%,

Everybody knows America is a better place because of the bold, strong, steady leadership of George W. Bush.

The Republican’s ideology is very clear. Tax cuts and the free market are the solution to every problem. Every Republican agress with this logic 100%.

Now that the American people know these ideological beliefs are 100% correct, because of the proven track record of Republican policies, why don’t these Liberals get it? They seem almost blinded by their own easily repeated talking points. They hate everyone who disagrees with them, no matter how petty or absurd.

It is common knowledge that Norm Coleman voted with the Republican party that has been, is, and will continue to be 100% correct on every issue, every time, because we say it is.

These moonbats hate America and want us to lose in Iraq.

Great Job Smartest Man In MN Publius and Adult-like Minnesota Republican Chris!!

Chris, who is the titular head of the Republican Party and supposedly the director of how to get core issues of Republican doctrine legislated? That would be George Bush would it not? I mean he doesn’t have a desk and vote but he leads the Congressional Republicans… or are you Republicans so ashamed of the cock-up you people have made of the country that you no longer recognize George Bush?

Stupid arguement from an increasingly desperate Chris… so now Senator Buttboy is an independant and never was a Republican? He only voted 90% of the time to support Bush’s policies because he didn’t know what button to push? Pull the other one…

If Senator Coleman can’t run on his record, why is he taking a paycheck for his job? Did he do his job at all?

  15. 15 15 Randy

Of course, let us never forget that the White House anointed Norm Coleman as the Senator from Minnesota by telling Timmy to back-off the election.

  16. 16 16 lojasmo

    Speaking of senatoral paychecks.

John McCain has “earned” $53,000 (from the taxpayers) since he last showed up in the senate.

  17. 17 17 Grace Kelly

Michael B. Brodkorb is making jokes. No we wouldn’t want to associate Norm Coleman with Bush, McCain and the ongoing Republican policy. That would be like..like calling Norm Coleman a Republican!

And calling someone a Republican these days, is a negative attack!

  18. 18 18 Mockingbird

Didn’t Coleman pickup a SwiftBoat liar as a campaign advisor, if I remember correctly?

Really low on things to attack Franken with, I guess. If he has to complain that Franken’s message wasn’t positive enough
by responding to the stupid attack ads by Coleman & Coleman ROVE surrogates.

Indeed. “Republican” is a dirty word these days. It taints the honest ones (I’m sure there are a few left).
Amazing the level of corruption & failure that word now represents.

Why exactly does Bordkorb come here? Must be to offer bipartisanship!
Does he actually think it draws people to his site?

Doesn’t everybody know it is always an “attack” to say anything negative about a republican party member? And, if you “attack” a republican you must be a terrorist, right? Or is it if you don’t agree to giving them your job, car, groceries and civil liberties, you are a terrorist. May be it is if you don’t net over $350,000.00 a year, you are a terrorist. Well not a terrorist (that was just an over-statement to continue the thought and perpetuate fear), but the republicans sure don’t care about you.

Poor Norman, from Massachusetts. Is that on the east coast? In his defense, Norman opposed President Bush’s plan to increase troop levels in Iraq in January, 2007. However he continued to vote against all efforts to change policy in Iraq, which would signify a strong correlation with Bush Policy and an aversion for cooperating across the isle.

He can go back to Alaska and fish with Senator Ted Stevens, on his “sabbatical”. Maybe they can surf the Series-Of-Tubes (of course I mean the Internet) for new investors (of course I mean contributors) to finance their legal defense fund (of course I mean Campaign).

If only the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations could look into this. Well, look who’s on it! SNAP!

    Nicely done Norm. Nicely done.

  20. 20 20 ProGresssive

    Error!
Norm is from Brooklyn, New York, not Massachusetts. I stand corrected.
