Eric Black delivers. Yes, this is it. This is the most complete and balanced report on the Senate candidates’ positions on Iraq that I’ve seen. In fact, it’s one of the most complete and balanced reports on any competing candidates’ positions on Iraq I’ve seen. The kicker: Black includes the entire raw audio from the interviews.
You hear exactly how Franken’s position on Iraq was formed and the interview shows first-hand exactly where he is coming from and why. Both candidates talk about their visits to Iraq but have very different conclusions. Black also digs hard into the backstory on the campaign talking points and gets both candidates to show their true colors behind them. It’s a great read and the audio is an incredible insight as to who these two candidates really are. Lastly, it sums up why you can’t judge someone’s position on the war from a few clips in the news.
It’s very likely I will be linking back to portions of this piece, including the audio, in many posts to come.
