Then again, bein' in The Party Of Abramoff (which is one reason GOP now stands for GreedOverPrinciples) makes it tough. But hey - these guys and gals you just mentioned are smart enough to recognize the "Republican" party brand has been trashed; why associate yourself at an event that is only going to highlight ("lowlight"?) the Culture Of Corruption? Well, havin’ the Chair of the Host Committee bein’ involved in a property tax scandal, and the Host Senator bein’ involved in rent and utilities scandal, isn’t real appealing for GOPers facing tough re-election campaigns.
