Real Minnesotan Bowlers

Matthew Miller with the DSCC writes:

Scripted actors in a campaign commercial sure have a lot of nice things to say about Norm Coleman, but real Minnesotans are on a completely different page…

Everyone knew that Coleman’s bowling ads were a crock — it’s good to see some real Minnesotan bowlers talk about the Senate race.

Yes, I would encourage all vulnerable state House Democrat freshman legislators to appear in public with Al Franken as much as possible. The REAL voters of MN support Franken. Ignore the polling and mail out literature with a photo of Rep. XXX smiling with Al Franken. Good luck with that one…

Who was talking about anything other than the US senate race?

And if we are going to change subjects, why is pointing out the obvious connections between Norm and the Bush/Cheney administration considered a political attack?

Wow, these Republican are dumb. Good ad and yes people want solutions to the problems in their lives… they don’t want people like Norm Coleman causing more problems in their lives. Laugh all you want dumb, but you will see who is in Washington this coming term… they will have a D behind their name… especially if the Coleman camp continues on their Mark Kennedy ways.

    From today’s Strib article:

The ad and Bush double had Republicans crying foul on Monday, saying Franken was ignoring the times when Coleman had taken positions opposite to the president.

If only Republicans had warned us how terrible Bush’s agenda was back in ‘04!

    Hey dumb-

    Democrats will take:

    The white house
    6 senate seats
    12 house seats (minimum)

Bank on it. The republican brand is in ruins. Only the stupidest of hold-outs are still clinging to the burning wreckage.

    Good luck with that.

“Franken was ignoring the times when Coleman had taken positions opposite to the president.”

Heh. Coleman’s unity score by year:

    99
    95
    90
    85
    83

If he were to get elected, and McCain were to get elected, Coleman’s score would be 99% again next year.

    What a weasel.

What a lame come back from the Coleman camp. You did an ad and didn’t say any of my god points. What an idiot.
