Al Gore To Headline Founders Day Celebration

It was announced today that Al Gore will headline the DFL’s Founders Day Celebration (it’s going to happen somewhere between lunch and late afternoon) on Oct. 4th.

This is obviously, pretty sweet.

  1. 1 1 Really?

So, is GreenGore going to leave his HUGE mansion next to the mine on his property, fly in on his private yet, arrive in a fleet of SUVs, and then tell us all that we were evil for not living in mudhuts and walking 5 miles to work?

Let me be the first Minnesota Republican blogger tomention that Al Gore said he invented the internet.

Everybody knows those were his EXACT WORDS.

There. Now everything anyone Minnesota Republican bloggers disagree with says about him that supports AL Gore is irrelevant.

    The end.

Why is it that right wingers never take the time to proof what they type before they post it? Their elevated blood pressure must get the best of them.

Ironic how there were two candidates in the 2000 election. One of them won the Nobel peace prize. The other took us into two wars.

    Hey TFRWG,
Since we are talking inventions, I thought you would be interested in another invention that should have gotten more press this cycle. About a month ago, Mitt “Mittens” Romney said, and I quote, “John McCain invented the surge.”

Can you believe it, before serial adulterer John McCain came along, no one in the history of warfare ever thought of massing forces in order to overwhelm an enemy! Serial Adulterer John McCain invented the surge. Pure genius.

(This post written with apologies to Colin Powell and his doctrine)

    Alec, I agree 100%,

Everyone knows John McCain invented “The Surge” (sending more troops and spending more taxpayer money). McCain also brilliantly predicted sending more troops and spending more taxpayer money would improve things in Iraq.

Now it is common knowledge that Iraq isn’t even an issue in this election. The only thing the AMerican people are concerned with are personalities. Because of that, we Minnesota Republican bloggers will again divide and conquer the American people. Winning elections is, after all, the most important issue to we Minnesota Republican bloggers.

A divided America is a small price topay if we Republicans can win again.

A divided America has nothing to do whatsoever with the problems in Washington. Everybody knows that is the Democrats fault. Bush has tried very hard to unite America, but these Democrats, they view everything through a partisan lens. That is why we Republicans must continue to ridicule, insult, and mis-state their positions until they go away.

The party of personal responsibility is not responsible for any of the problems America faces.

    Great Job Alec

    LippyPig,

Not only is Al Gore awesome for inventing the internet but he invented global warming too!! How great is this guy to give us something totally unfounded and without cause to worry about. He’s smarter than Einstein!

Al Gore is pretty smart. While he didn’t invent the internet (and never claimed to) he was instrumental in creating the internet, or so say the people who actually invented it. One would think that a guy who was talking about the potential of the internet in the early 1980s might be considered a visionary. Instead he is mocked, and lost* an election to a guy who spent the early 1980s drunk.

Al Gore was also talking about global climate change years before most other people. And even now that there is a scientific consensus and the Republican presidential nominee believes that man is causing climate change, Gore is still being mocked.

Gore has been on the correct side of things. Its outstanding that he’s coming here.
He has been visionary in terms of the applications of ARPANet and several other things that are important to our days on this planet.

Maybe he can enlighten a few people who don’t seem to understand what they WISH to believe, doesn’t make it so.

Petty behavior by right wing trolls is not going to change that. Even if the ignominious fancy themselves grand.
No one is going to take his international awards back because of the super intellect of “jt.”

“Whiney” — that word spoken (was it by Gramms?) is appropriate when it applies to Republicans, or are they now “Rebublicans?”
At least the ones who still cannot think for themselves & cling to the same old Bush-McSame mess.

Mediocrity thy name is now Neocon and Republican.
