Why couldn’t they just beat the Sox!?!?
That is all.

I almost hate the Twins more for dropping 2 of 3 to KANSAS CITY!!!!!
Amen, Matt.
When Morneau hit into the double play with the bases loaded late in Saturday’s loss, I had this strange feeling that the season was over. Here’s to hoping that I was very mistaken.
is in the Cellar for a reason.
F the twins. Ever since I started paying for Carl Pohlad’s stadium, I hope they lose every game. Carl’s corporation deserves failure.
How about if they had won just one more game against the AL’s worst team , the Seattle Mariners, 1-7 i believe.
I’m with Zach.
The White Sox need to clinch the Al pennant. The Cubs need to clinch the NL pennant. There will be a subways series in Chicago. Obama another Chicago will complete the Holy Trinity and win the election. The world will be saved and a lot of people will celebrate. I know Obama is probably a Sox fan.

I think he IS a Sox fan, since he basically called Cubs fans a bunhc of posuers a few months back
Dear Zach and KH, ARE YOU GUYS COMMIES?!!! The Twins are one the few joys his year, you don’t have to like the stadium deal to root for the team. Enjoy their success this year, enjoy the playoffs and World Series and stop taking yourselves so f…ing seriously. SHEESH!
I like Joe Mauer, Justin Morneau, Fransisco Liriano, Scott Baker, etc.
Those guys aren’t responsible for the stadium deal. In fact, those guys pick up a huge part of the total tab for our Minnesota state government operations.
You can disagree with the stadium deal but still root for this team.
Agree. The stadium is a done deal and we’re paying for it. Might as well be of good cheer and support the Twins.
Now the Vikings…that’s another story. They don’t have a new stadium yet, and if they keep sucking pondwater like they do, we’ll never have to worry about buying them one. Maybe they’ll move to Des Moines after 2011.
A major league team plays 80 games a year in town. An NFL team plays 8.
Big difference.
If one team is going to revitalize a community, it will be the baseball team.
