What Did Norm Coleman Bring Back Again?

In case you forgot about Norm Coleman’s accomplishment when he was a mayor in the 1990s, they released a new ad today to remind you:

There’s two more “accomplishments” mentioned here. I have to ask though: what kind of moron do you have to be to not work with Klobuchar to get I-35W funding? It’s straight from the first chapter of “Being a Republican Senator 101” entitled “Start Represent Your State When The Entire World Is Watching.” So I commend Coleman for working with Klobuchar on that.

And why brag about Medicare? Coleman voted to make it illegal for Medicare to negotiate prices with drug companies in 2003 and in 2005 voted against an amendment that would have granted that right. Coleman gets hundreds of thousands of dollars from Health Care and Big Pharma and taxpayers flip the bill on the $3.7 billion more we pay for drugs. Yet he gets that scummy bowler to tout a Medicare “accomplishment”? (Sidenote: Norm Coleman brought his missing tooth back.)

I’m also not aware of Coleman trying to be an mediator on the healthy rivalry Vikings and Packers fans have. Will viewers think this joke is funny during the big game on Monday night? *groan* Bipartisanship in football is antithetical to being a solid fan.

It’s a bad sign when MNpublius is linking to Coleman’s ads.

Is this a parody? I can’t believe Coleman put this out. The statement “he brought Hockey back” seems more like mockery than praise.

And why does Norm Coleman need fake bowlers, actors from Dallas no less, to talk about Minnesota issues? As much as I hate his New York accent, a commercial of him trying to talk straight would be better than one that treats us citizens as morons. Something rational instead of gimmicky ads might do the weasel well.

Norm’s “commercials” remind me of little markie’s “bus bench” commercial.

Scott Howell was the genius behind little markie’s pathetic campaign.

This commercial played at the bar during the football game last night, and it was openly scorned and laughed at. These commercials are pathetic! Again, who is paying for these? They got ripped off.

I think it was in response to a previous Franken ad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VHn9sQVRVM
