Coleman Campaign Cancels Press Conference

The Coleman campaign had a press conference scheduled in Room 125 early this afternoon at the State Capitol today. A source close to the Capitol tells MNpublius it was cancelled. MNpublius has been unable to determine any explanation for this cancellation.

Granted, the Nassar Kazeminy story has been blowing up today but that shouldn’t be a reason to suspend press conferences. What’s going on?

  • Drunk lobbyist who had not had his pockets picked yet?

  • The Senator’s morning clothes purchasing trip has run late, and his news conference will just have to wait. Remember, “the Senator has reported all the reported all the gifts he’s required to report.” Will Senator Franken have to report this late-in-the-election embarassment for Coleman as a gift if it turns out to be the deciding factor in the election?
