As required, any gift Norm Coleman has received from his friends has been fully reported.
Whenever asked specifically about Kazeminy, the same answer is repeated — never going on the record about Kazeminy. The press has been having a field day today asking the same question over and over again and getting the same generic, non-specific answer. The Pionner Press’ Dave Orrick got a little more though:
First of all, every gift I’ve ever received has been reported, ok. But the idea of responding to the things bloggers throw out is something I’m not going to get into. There are very awful things that are said about people on the blogs.
How is asking questions about the legality of gifts Senators receive a “very awful thing”? If he’s looking for “very awful things that are said about people on the blogs,” perhaps he’s mistaking bloggers with a GOP operative he is familiar with that specializes in whisper campaigns, spreading vicious rumors, shameless attacks and staging misleading stories for the media.
If I may speak on behalf of bloggers, Norm Coleman, this isn’t something we’re just “throwing out” there. We’re asking you to be accountable to the law, accountable to the people on Minnesota and accountable to our country.

Aaron: You can’t speak on behalf of bloggers. Your posts on MN Publius have been the most dishonest I have ever read. Lies, lies, lies.
That’s not a tough question. A tough question is:
“Hey, Drake - you told us at a presser you would check with Team Coleman about showing us an Actual Utility Bill. It’s put up or shut up time: Where is an Actual Utility Bill for the Apartment Norm rents from Larson?”
THAT is a tough question; and since Team Coleman has been stalling on showing the media an Actual Utility Bill, it’s time to put some pressure on.
I agree with Michael here, this Landry fellow is the most disgraceful blogger in MN as far as spreading downright lies about Senator Coleman and lying on behalf of Al Franken.
Michael and GOPgal: You’re entitled to your opinions, but that’s all they are, unless you’ve got some real evidence of lying. And GOPgal, at least Brodkorb goes on record with his own name when impugning someone’s character.
Those are only easy questions for someone with nothing to hide…Sleasy ole Norm…
A quick question for our friendly GOP trolls… who would you trust more to lend $20, Aaron Landry or Norm Coleman? My guess is Norm would forget he borrowed the money long before Aaron. In fact he would think of it as just the price you pay to hang with New York Norm.
Notice how the Republicans got less than nothing at any level of candidate? Every ad is only to tear down someone else. Not a single, solitary ad in the last month has given me a reason or a rationale to vote for the GOP candidate over the DFL candidate. It is really sad to think how low the Party of Eisenhower and Lincoln has sunk.
