Minnesota Independent and The UpTake have done some great work covering Todd Palin’s visit and Norm Coleman’s “Hope” Express, including the piece “First Dude and absent Sarah upstage Norm at Duluth Sportsmen for Coleman rally.”
I cannot believe they allow such disgusting signage not only at the rally, but at the front of the rally. I’m sure Mr. Positive Norm Coleman is proud.

What in the world are these people hoping for?!
Yes. Support the equating of Charles Manson and Barack Obama. Keep it up Norm! Chameleon Norm wears the Republican bigot suit well. I hope he can keep it on all the way to the election. We want as many Minnesotans to see this picture as possible.
There has got to be a term for the stupidity the Right Wing is experiencing this election cycle. As it becomes more and more apparent that the electorate is not being convinced by their approach, they increase the intensity. We have even seen it here as our resident Wingers go through the traditional stages of grief… most of them have come to acceptance but these crowds are at anger.
I know how to get more people behind McCain Palin, lets insult our competition and tell his supporters that they are idiots… that will do it. /snark
amuseinc,
Well, it has always been your method.
In one post you insult a group of people based on political affiliation because they are insulting people based on political affiliation. Are you really that ignorant of your own hypocrisy?
Yes. I’m a partisan Democrat and everyone knows that. Don’t like my posts don’t read them.
Did you notice that Bachman’s opponent scored over $100,000 from her being on cable news shows.
AI,
I think it is more like 488,000 now. I also think that there has never been a better time and justification for being a partisan liberal than we are seeing everyday during this election cycle. Right and wrong have never been at clearer odds. I almost wanna see the Repugnants win, just so they could carry their failed ideology to full term. Unfortunately, no American deserves that terrible fate.

What a great bunch of people these Repugnants are. It’s nice to see their true colors without the thin veil. They won’t be forgotten when this election is over. Here’s a beer tip to a progressive majority!

“In one post you insult a group of people based on political affiliation because they are insulting people based on political affiliation.”
They are equating Obama with a murderer. It has nothing to do with political affiliation. It is frank asshattery.

The problem with the title “community organizer” is that most Americans are not familiar with it because it is an inner city position/term.
HOWEVER,people are familiar with the title of someone who does exactly the same job in the rural areas of America: the Community Outreach Minister.
This person is employed by a church to find and then help people who need it. Example: the poor elderly lady who needs a new roof; the family who has holes in their floor; the population pocket (community) that has no street lights or a recreation area with a hoop and with a baseball diamond; the extremely rural area that needs a paved road so that the school bus can pick up the children that live along the road.
I hope that this clarifies the job “community organizer.”
Thanks Carol! Very illuminating.
Carol:
Minnesota has many unpaved roads that are used by school buses to pick up children attending pubic school. [Many thousands of miles, I’m sure.] Some of us that lived on township or county gravel roads did not consider ourselves ‘extremely rural’ if we didn’t live on a paved road. When spring floods washed out parts of the roads, the bus drivers creatively reworked their routes to navigate a different approach to the child’s home.
[Living on a township road can actually be a blessing in the Twenty-First Century, because some township roads are better maintained than the state roads in the Carol Molnau era of MNDoT priority setting for resource allocation.]
Not all ‘community organizers’ in rural areas are hired by churches. Some may work for agencies that might be government or non-profit, or some might just be leaders using their talents and not getting any pay or recognition for their work to help other members in their community.
