My guess (and it is purely that) is that McHale got Taylor's approval to make that appearance. Remember also that Mike Tice gave GW a Vikes jersey in 2004, and some season ticket holders were none too pleased. So my question is this: will McHale's endorsement really get any more Minnesota votes, or even those on the Range? Personally, I doubt it. I thought he used to be a Democratic during his playing career.
