A Day for History

I apologize for what is sure to be one of several random thoughts throughout the day, but the history of it all is really starting to hit me.

I just wish Dr. King could see this, he’d be so proud of all of us.

    It is huge that we are likely going to elect a black man as President. It shows that this generation is in a spot that the last one wasn’t. This is truly historic.

    But with all due respect to Senator Obama, I would argue that this day will only be a great election day if he becomes a great President. If he proves that he was the single best person for this job at this time in our history, then this will be a great election no matter what color or gender the new President is.
