Coleman is now only delaying the seating of Franken and in doing so is not servicing his staff, his financial contributors or the people of Minnesota.
For a time many Minnesotans followed the case closely, but now, after five months, they mainly see stalling. As for the rest of the country, at first, Americans thought Minnesota looked like a diligent place for vote recounts. Now, it’s starting to seem like an election laughingstock.
And Coleman, who rails against career politicians, is looking like a career politician who is losing his career.
A good politician knows when he is looking bad and making his state look bad.

I agree. Coleman’s exit could have been as graceful and smooth as the recount. He could have been SO proud, and realized, as most did, that a 3rd party spoiler taught us all a lesson- EVERY VOTE & VOTER count. Even though this has taken far too long, each Minnesotan should be (and could be if the GOP wasn’t running the Coleman show) thrilled that our system worked.

This is a rare and endangered species that apparently has survived in at least one isolated population down on the Southern Minnesota prairie. We need to nurture these remaining specimens to encourage their survival. A healthy political ecosystem requires competition of ideas. The inbreeding of thought in the form of talking points and repeated lies has corrupted the gene pool of the Republican Party base and severly diminished their capacity for independent thought.
First, Coleman won by 225 - Then Franken won by 225 - Then some ballots that supposedly not counted - were then counted and Franken was ahead. By my standards Franken should have graciously conceded at the first. There is something rotten in Minnesota. Coleman hasn’t made this a joke, Franken has. After all he is the comedian.
And, as Minnesotan’s, you want this man in Congress???
PLEASE, Coleman lost, get on with it, this is not their time, this guy is no differrent
then the rest of them. I got to see more of him at Lake Minntonkia, and he wasn’t with his
wife at the time…..We need to take him and the current governer and show them the door.
