Does Norm Coleman Have Any Friends Left?

In an interview with Katie Couric, Wisconsin Republican Representative Paul Ryan says that “most of us think” Al Franken is going to win.  Poor Normy, must be hard to show his face in DC these days.  Video here.

  • He could make some new friends by staging a graceful and dignified exit. It would require creative choreography but it could still be done. The attacks from the right however would be withering. If he attempts to take this contest beyond Minnesota he will be dragging Pawlenty down with him; not that Pawlenty’s relentless self destructive behavior isn’t accomplishing that anyway.

  • Don’t take this wrong… but whores are not the friends of the pimps. They may not be saying nasty things to the political strumpet’s face but wait until this is over and see how much respect the slut gets from Rush and the Kool Kids Klub. Norm is a tool to be used and then thrown away to the National Republican Party much like Minnesota’s Senatorial representation.

  • Norm has shot himself in the foot repeatedly.

Even people who support Norm, the ones I know who are not on message boards,
are sick of Norm. They’re tired of the very name.

Didn’t matter whether he did it, or they did it through
third party surrogates: everyone is sick of Norm.

The exhaustion they were trying to attach to Franken, has come home to roost.
