I suppose her constituents should be thankful for what they get — after all, we know how much she hates spending time in her own district. But after all the time they’ve spent waiting for a bit of dialogue with her, all she gives them is 45 minutes? They’d have been better off with Tim Walz, who extended his two-hour town hall meeting an extra half hour so more people could get the opportunity to speak.
I suppose Bachmann has more important things to do than speak with her constituents, like appearing for the umpteenth time on TV with Sean Hannity.

I liked the joke about Tiger Woods lending President Obama money. It’s funny, because they’re both half black, get it?
Ok. Please disregard the first comma in the above post. Thank you.
Milk cartons in Minnesota now have pictures of James Oberstar, Amy Klobuchar, Al Franken and Betty McCollum on them. They have not had any in person town halls at all in August. Where are they?
What about John Kline?
Betty had hers in July. It was open to the public in a public park. What more do you want? Public forums open to questions, or just ones in specific dates you choose?
Betty is holding a Town Hall 8/31/09 at Macalester. Organizing for America is “organizing” to stack the deck. Imagine that. I thought it was the radical right that was stacking town halls.

Clearly there is a difference between organizing opposition to disrupt a debate, and organizing supporters to participate in a discussion. Do you not see the difference.
Also, Mr. Facts, you got the date wrong.
In fact, pending any evidence from you, C”man” I think I’m gonna call your bluff

Provide a link or any citation at all CMan? So, Betty has two Town Halls when Paulsen and Kline have none. Awesome.

Better link.

Despite your link, I didn’t get a letter from OfA. That means that they are recruiting citizens from within the 5th CD. Seems pretty legit for the President’s organization to be getting participation from concerned citizens in the district.
It’s just not the same as insurance companies requiring their employees to bus out of district to disrupt town halls.
Let me say it again: Your comparison is false.
Bachmann also held a LIVE TownHall at the State Fair on Thursday…………it was impromptu, and people from both the left and the right (and everything in between) were engaging with her and themselves……….old school style:)
And I’ll agree that Kline and Paulsen should have a TownHall meeting………..but in fairness you guys should also advocate for Franken/Klobachar to likewise have a LIVE townhall…………and honestly, I don’t care if either side “organizes” for “THEIR” people to attend…………
“Let me say it again: Your comparison is false.”
Of course it is!
HR 3200 was even written in July when McCollum had her townhall. How would people even have been able to comment on it. What is McCollum, Oberstar, Frank and Klobuchar afraid of?
Exposure to those beyond their leftist base.
Two of your targets are senators. HR 3200 is a house bill. Do you understand how government works?
