Here are some quick instructions to get people started. If you need a more in depth tutorial, this may serve you better.
How to post:
- Simply login to the right (you can use your normal MNpublius account if you have one) and then click the green button that says “write diary.”
- Now you should see the post page. Let your creative juices flow.
- To add an image find the icon of the picture frame. It’s above the post text area, to the left of the tabs that say “visual” and “html.” Then, simply follow the instructions.
- Please try to categorize and tag posts. Tags should be people’s names like “Abraham Lincoln” whereas categories should be subject areas like “White House ‘08.” To add either, use the tools below the post text area.
- When you’re finished and ready to submit the post simple click the button that says “submit for review.” It’s located towards the top of the right sidebar.
- Now your post waits for our quick review before it’s published right on the site!
Please Note
- Diary entries are not posted immediately. We must review them first. Please note that we will not ever change a diary without the author’s approval and that while we reserve the right to refuse diaries in rare situations (lies, slander, aggression, etc…) we will almost always immediately approve diaries.
- Your diary may be promoted to the MNpublius frontpage; this is part of the reason for the above review.
- Also, the list of new posts on the MNpublius frontpage refreshes on a slight delay.
