I'd like to volunteer with a group that's working to oppose the voter ID amendment, but have not been able to find any online (plenty of information about the amendment itself, but nothing about the organizations that are opposing it). Can you help point me in the right direction?

A great question. Sadly, as far as I’m aware, there’s not much out there — one of several reasons I believe voter ID will pass in 2012. At least, I made a few calls myself last year hoping to do the same thing, and came up with nothing.

Readers, am I wrong? Is there an organized group working to protect our right to vote? Someone please tell me the answer is yes.
