The rich take it all

The Economic Policy Institute has an incredible chart about income inequality in the 21st century. Have you wondered why lefties like myself are so outraged over rising income inequality? Here’s a hint.

From 2000 to 2007, the average income in America grew by $1,460. There’s just one slight problem. Every single cent of that growth went to the richest 10 percent, and almost all of it went to the top 1 percent.

Please, stop telling me that we need to give the rich more and more.
